The food is incredible! Kind of expensive but worth it. They cook right at your table and all the cooks have a great sense of humor.

My wife and I have dined at the Adoke location in Darien many times and have always enjoyed enjoyed good food and good service. We accidentally bought the groupon for the Romeoville location so we made the trip out this weekend to use it. We arrived a little after 7pm. Upon checking in, we were told there would be about... The is the family favorite for hibachi meal. The chef's do a great job of entertaining while cooking a great meal. The yum yum sauce is good on the fried rice as well.
After seeing a coupon in circular, I decided to make a reservation of party of 4. We arrived early, but still had to wait 20-30mins to be seated, another 20mins for the host to take our drink orders. Drinks went empty a lot, slow to refil Water. Requested soy sauce but never received. So I got up from cramped seats... More
We went to Aodake for lunch. I had the scallop hibachi and my wife and friend had the shrimp. The server was attentive and polite. the chef was funny and paid attention to detail. The food was hot and tasted great. We will be going back again soon.
I recommend getting a Groupon. I recommend that you call ahead for seating! Food is good depending on the cook. If you order extra of anything make sure you get what you are paying for and what you asked for otherwise, it just gets split between everyone and you pay for it. Entertaining for everyone.

The atmosphere was quiet and a little odd for a Friday night. The food was ok, not horrible but not great. I saw many of the traditional... More

We enjoyed the Inari & avocado, avocado cucumber, California roll, the beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura, Yaki soba, ebirah, and gorilla roll. What a delicious meal. Besides this location in Romeoville,... More
