We enjoyed a lovely relaxing family meal here this evening. We received a warm welcome when we arrived. They played some enjoyable music in the background. The table service was attentive and throughout the whole evening we were well looked after. They were polite and friendly. All the meals were tasty, presented lovely and we all enjoyed our meals and... More

Upon visiting friends who had just moved to the area, we turned up at the Woolpack, no booking and fairly late on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by the family and clearly they took hospitality seriously. The Carvery was kept open for us whilst we chose our meals and the food was excellent - and good value too. A... More

On Easter Sunday my daughter and I arrived at The Woolpack in a sorry state as she had just had a nasty fall on her bike. The staff at the Woolpack were amazing! Her wounds were administered to with care & confidence. They were thoughtful and sympathetic. Last night it was my husband & my anniversary and as we wanted... More

We went for lunch & had the pizza which was very good... excellent pizza but had onion rings that were cold & I thought the puddings were over priced at £6+ for the small portion sizes they offered ( had chocolate cake ). Staff were very friendly & we would go again but knowing to possibly not have puddings due... More

We've been here a couple of times recently. Table for four in the bar. Pizzas a couple of weeks ago (massive so shouldn't have had big starters) and steaks last night. Lovely food, great staff and service and a really good evening overall. Very well-kept beer, too.

Went here as part of a bigger group for an evening meal. Decided to go for the pizza, for easiness, due to allergies. The pizzas were very dry and biscuity, not much topping and as soon as you try to cut into the pizza, the whole thing just cracked. When the waitress asked if we enjoyed it, we said not... More

Great food and drinks, Sunday lunchtime carvery especially good with wide choice of meats (Lamb, Pork, Beef, Pork and Gammon), vegetarian dishes and serve your own veg. Worth booking to get a table. We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Sweets are served from sweet trolley and look fantastic. Kids play area and outdoor seating at rear... More

We went here as a family and I have to say I was very impressed, I had a pizza and it was perfect, it tasted good and there was nothing else I could ask for. However, when desert came round I wasn't very pleased. They brought a selection of desserts and the idea was you'd pick by looking at them.... More

We are a traditional, family run, country pub, located in the heart of Elstead in south west Surrey. Originally a wool exchange dating to the 17th century, The Woolpack has been many things, including a butcher's shop and a bicycle repairer's, before becoming the pub it is today. We have recently completed a major refurbishment inside and out. Relax in our welcoming bar, admire the weaving shuttles and other remnants of the wool industry, dine in our restaurant or enjoy the spacious garden. Our menu features seasonal home-cooked dishes, offering both a bar and full restaurant menu. Fresh fish features heavily, although meat lovers will not be disappointed. We have a daily specials board, which you'll often find signature Italian dishes (courtesy of our Italian owners and chef Gina). The surrounding hundreds of acres of common land make the pub particularly popular with ramblers, whose tired feet can be warmed in front of the roaring fire. The Woolpack welcomes families and well behaved dogs and has adequate parking in front of the pub.
