I took my daughter to Agio for a birthday dinner. It was her first visit. We ordered wine, appetizers, a great entree and dessert. Knowing it was a birthday, would it kill Agio to comp a birthday piece of cake? The server absolutely knew this was a bday celebration. It would have been nice and left a better first impression.

"Loved the food, very good selection of meat, fish and pastas! Great wait staff and best of all 10 minutes from/to home!"

This place has flirted with potential for years. Always coming up short. Last night the swordfish was over the top spectacular. Service was good in spite of a packed house. Only issue was the high noise level.

You would never expect a good Italian restaurant in a strip mall in Palatine, but there it is! Went there with some friends for my 60th birthday Saturday night - the place was packed. Great service from our server - can't recall her name, however. Nice wine selection, very elegant dining experience - prices are what you would expect for... More

This restaurant is very charming and the food is delicious. Reservations are suggested and honored. Whether you order seafood, veal, chicken, beef, or their wonderful pasta dishes - you won't be disappointed. A bonus in the summer/fall is the ability to dine on their patio. They offer both covered but open air and truly outside seating.

Very comfortable dining rooms, and a seasonal outdoor area, and room. Authentic Italian food...the owner is the main chef. Mary...the chef's wife is at the front desk...she's very welcoming. Very nice bar area too.

I wanted to go here as I've heard that it is a hidden Italian gem in Palatine. The inside decor was very upscale as well as the prices, but the food and location are NOT on the same level. I have to admit that I almost cancelled my reservation due to the poor parking situation. Agio is located in a... More

We wanted a nice place in the Rolling Meadows/Palatine area to go with 4 co-workers for a birthday lunch, and chose Agio's for its convenient location and easy parking. (One person incorrectly thought they only served large groups, since their catering menu is the default which appears first on their website, but if you click "More Menus" you can view... More

I have dined here 3 times before and I wanted my daughter to try it so we went for lunch. We enjoyed our food but service was slow and we had to ask for water a few times before receiving any.
