If you are looking for something other than just candy, Affy Tapple has quite a selection of taffy apples. From the regular ol' kind to the gourmet kind that you will see in some upscale candy stores, you'll find it here. They also do chocolate pretzels, pretzel nuggets, pecan turtles and more. They do have some great specials, where you... More

If you love taffy apples, Affy Tapple is the place for you. Located south of Howard St. on North Croname Rd., it is in a commercial business district. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a constant flow of people. They have some great buys, for example a case of taffy apples (36) for $20, with more than... More

This store is actually on a Crosname Street in Niles......we went yesterday at noon and it seemed quite picked over but I was able to snag some goodies. Besides having taffy apples, they have a nice assortment of chocolates and covered pretzels and carmel. They had a BOGO (buy one, get one) on the taffy apples so I got two... More

WE have been going to Affy Tapples 4 over 20 yrs! It's not a fancy place, in fact it is just a small brick building, with friendly people inside! It is a bit hard to find, but once you've been there it is no problem. August through Thanksgiving is the best time to come, but all year round is good.... More

I have been buying Affy Tapples since you could purchase broken-stick apples for 5 cents each at the original Clark Street location. Those bargains are long gone, but last week I purchased a case of 24 peanut apples for $15 -- with plenty of time until the expiration date. They were delicious. The factory store in Niles also carries Mrs.... More

Affy Tapple is a VERY hard place to find, once found it sort of leaves a lot to be desired, the specialty apples are there sometimes and usually sold out. It proves to be a bargain if a lot of apples are needed such as a birthday party or sporting event. It is easy to buy a case and go.

The small outlet store is locate in the industrial building, not very easy to find. The store has limited inventory and especially better items are not always available. The feeling is that what is on sale are not sold or over produced left overs. Many items could be bought in independent store at lower prices. It 's just not worth... More

On the way home after a body pump class at YMCA, my sister-in-law drove by Affy Tapple and asked me if I have ever tried any. I think I have back in CA. She suggested we go in to check it out. Even though she is a native of Niles, she has never been to the factory store. She was... More

Growing up with Affy Tapples, I crave these each fall. Being in Chicago for a wedding, I drove over to the Niles store to buy a case of Affy Tapples before heading to the airport to fly back to Phoenix. After I explained to the clerk that I was bringing all the apples back to Phoneix, she was nice enough... More
