We've eaten here several times, both just as a family and with groups of people. They have always been more than accommodating. It is a great casual place and there is something for everyone on the menu. The mini pizzas are perfect when you can't...More

We had our holiday party here today. Tony was our waiter - he was a great server and was able to help us with our menu selections. The fried mushrooms, poppers and fried pickles were delicious - nice and crispy. The medium salads were large...More

We stopped here for the first time to get dinner at Apple Fest. The ambiance on the outdoor seating is great! The food selection was good. Between our party we tried the cheese curds, pizza, subs, and calzone. All yummy! The local beer selection was...More

I enjoyed the Long Grove Cafe, but this replacement is even better. Enjoyed the "Rochester style" pan pizza, cheese curds and boneless wings. Joanie, the owner, is very friendly and active in management. Nice outdoor shaded patio too.

I've eaten a sizeable number of gluten free pizzas. This one ranks right at the top. Crust is really nice and thin. Plentiful mozzarella cheese and generous ingredients carefully prepared. Everyone seems to really enjoy the broasted chicken- wish that my diet could allow for...More

We decided to try this new restaurant while we were in Long Grove. It was called Village Pizza & BBQ until just a few weeks ago. Before that it was called Long Grove Café. We started off with their Caesar salad which was good. We...More

Whodathunk ! Our hats off to Joanie for having both great thin crust and great thick crust pizza. As I said -- whodathunk ! We've been there several times -- and have yet to try other menu items -- but the pizza alone has made...More

Description
Loaded with family traditions, homemade BBQ sauce and a secret family pizza sauce. Owner Joanie Shunia has renovated the space to include a new bar and a bright, welcome interior which house some of the original recipes from the first Village Pizza of Detroit. Flat-screen televisions will fill the dining rooms, four video-gambling machines will occupy one corner, the patio will be open during warm summer months. We offer thin and hand-tossed round pizzas, and the square Sicilian style - similar to the deep-dish Chicago style, but with cheese on top instead of sauce.
