If you want to feel like you are stepping back to the 1940's for a night out, this is your place. Family run, Di Piero's is heavy on atmospherics because the restaurant has been there forever. Sitting at the bar makes you feels as if Humphrey Bogart or Frank Sinatra could walk through the door at any minute. A classic... More

We had a party of nine. They made us wait 40 minutes when we had a reservation. There is limited seating in the restaurant. Sure they offered to seat us at two separate tables, but that defeats the purpose of us having dinner as a family. They offered some free drinks to a couple who had finished eating 20 minutes... Not the best pizza I gave eaten, but for a small town pizzeria it is very good l. I prefer Giordano's but it us a different class of pie. Great local crowd, and a fun place to eat.

Very small, dark and intimate nice for a quiet date but very expensive. I don't think we saw the whole restaurant we sat near the bar area. Lots to choose from on the menu but each entree was in the $20+ range. Add a drink and appetizer and you have a hefty bill for 2 people.

A small (as in very small / limited seating) restaurant with a bar that takes up half the space, a dark, intimate interior, and a fairly extensive menu (from appetizers and pizza to full meals). Casual dress, kid friendly. What makes this restaurant stand apart is that it has been part of the Lake Zurich scene for many, many years,... More

Excellent seasonal dishes prepared in true Italian atmosphere. Expecting Sinatra to walk in at any time! Small dinning area so wait is common but bar is ample and drinks are at the ready. A great "Old Style" evening to be had!

Fairly small and cozy. I love the two tables by the front window. This restaurant has been a downtown Lake Zurich go-to-place for me for decades. There is an extensive menu, food is always fresh and good, reasonable prices, and great thin crust pizza. They have recently added a new seating area in the back of the restaurant - a... More

It's a little hideaway with awesome Italian food. The food is always fresh. And you can have just a pizza. Restaurant is small and intimate. Wine list is affordable. Very romantic.
