I enjoyed my sandwich at Penn Station. The lemonade was also great. I will just say that it is a smaller than average sandwich and therefore I felt I could get better value for money at one of the many other sandwich offerings of Gurnee.

Here's another quick service sub sandwich shop that actually is similar to Potbelly with grilled subs, but has more variations to choose from. They offer fries and not just chips. The sandwiches were tasty and filling and you can get the perfect portion size for your appetite.

Been here twice. Both were great experiences. Sandwiches were really good, and the fries were awesome. Would definitely go back.

I like this place for good food and decent value. But they are SO slow. My wife and I went on a Friday night and were about the only people there. We ordered at 7:11 pm and didn't get out food until 7:15. For two subs. Off the menu. Nothing special in any way. So I will not be back... More

I have always wanted to try their subs. They had a good taste and the fries were good. However there was very little meat on the sandwich, and they were way overpriced. Could have gotten a better sandwich at Subway for half the cost.

While the variety of subs were great me and my daughter got sick after eating here. I also don't like the fact that they don't make the staff making the sandwiches wear gloves. Probably won't return.

For a few simple subs it took over a half an hour. I can go to any sub shop and get equal quality in 5 minutes! This happened on both of our visits there. To make it worse, none of the employees were wearing the gloves that were sitting in a box next to them. They were going from handling... More

I had never been to Penn Station before, we don't have one where I live. I love Potbelly Sandwich works and to me this place was comparable but with different choices. I enjoyed the bread they use- not too thick (I stopped eating at Quizno's because it hurts my mouth- too big, too toasty does not equal good experience) But... More

We were just at this restaurant. It was not busy at all as we were the only people in line. The 2 staff workers took over 15 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. The worst parts were that the person taking the orders was touching the register and counter as she took our order. From there she made the sandwiches without... More

The food is prepared fresh as you wait. Good quality spices are used to flavor the subs. And the best part for me is the fries are prepared from real potatoes, and the fries have always been fully cooked and crisp. I hate limp fries. We try to eat there weekly, and we have not had a bad experience.
