Quaint greasy spoon diner, which we all need sometimes for sure. The menu is exactly the same as Fred's just a few doors down.

The server was friendly and the service was prompt. Husband had breakfast and said it was good. I had the special of the day -- skirt steak sandwich -- the taste was very good --- but, most of the meat was too grisly to eat.
We love Whitney Street for breakfast! Just about every Saturday morning my wife and I start with breakfast here. The service is great and quick, the coffee is good and constantly refilled and the food comes out quick. My wife loves the breakfast burrito and...More
Love Whitney Street for dinner or especially for brunch on Sundays. Wow is it ever great. You won't leave hungry!! Nicely decorated, located on second floor so it's neat looking out of windows of downtown Grayslake. Not the easiest to get to if your handicapped...More
Our favorite breakfast place no matter what time of day! We enjoy the family diner feel, efficient friendly service, fresh omelets and waffles and of course the hot coffee. Thank you Whitney Street we appreciate your loving commitment!

We go there a lot, and it's quite the bargain. The food and service are excellent. Not fancy, but blessedly quiet in an area with too many loud places.. No TVs and none of those betting machines.
A nice small friendly restaurant. Pleasant staff, good breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Similar to a diner. Simple food but quick service and good tasting.
