Great variety of craft beers. Enjoyed two of them together with some well prepared comfort food in an old firehouse repurposed for a micro-brewery. The food was excellent, the service was prompt, pleasant, and attentive. The restaurant got quite busy and seems locally popular.

This dish was perfectly prepared and so delicious I've had it both times I've visited this restaurant. My son had the burger, which he said was also really good. We split a dessert on one visit, and it was excellent.

Excellent food - all homemade. Had a burger which was delicious, kids (teens) had mac ‘n cheese which they loved. Homemade ranch dressing on the salad was great. Others at the table had fried chicken sandwich and philly burger, which got thumbs up. Didn’t try...the brews. Looked to be an old firestation, very neat atmosphere inside. Could see the old fire pole! I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.More

Wow… great decor (old fire house). I ordered the pulled pork flatbread- delicious. My husband ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf and he really enjoyed that as well. Service was friendly and food delivered quickly. Restaurant was a little loud… might be challenging for anyone with...hearing difficulties. Overall, I would highly recommend… my husband is already planning his next trip through this area and wants to try one of the burgers.More

We stopped in on our way north on a whim. Such a fun place to get lunch. The building is an old firehouse and has lots of authentic touches. Great food and friendly staff.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and sat outside. The interior is very nice but a little loud for us. I had salmon with risotto that was out of this world and my husband had pulled pork flatbread that was super crispy...and delicious. Our server was extremely friendly and enjoyable. Excellent experience altogetherMore

Old beautiful building. The burgers were great. Service was very good. Due to the covid, we had a table outside, he weather helped, it was warm and sunny. Unfortunately, only two choices of IPA.....

Wow. We moved here exactly a month ago today, & are already pretty much regulars. Tiffany, Kristy, Josh, Ryan & first-day Melissa have all been GREAT! They are very lucky to have such great waitstaff. The cream ale is my favorite so far, followed by...their PB porter & flatback IPA. The hubs loves the double IPA & the flatback. So far, we've had the reuben (all housemade GOODNESS), killer fries (!!!) & wings (tender, juicy & BIG). The space is amazing. Wish we could sit inside (you can, we're just a bit COVID-ed-out), but the outside seating is shady, spacious, breezy & friendly. We have conversed with many nice people out there. We will keep going back. Can't wait to try the burgers & more beer!More

I was in galesburg for business and searched out a new place for a meal. I drove around the downtown area and found the Ironspike. With this covid mess going on, I got my meal to go. I did sit inside while I waited and...all the staff was very nice. The dining room and bar area was very comfortable. Any other time, it would be the kind of place I would have spent some time hanging out.. I ordered the barbecue bacon burger and fries. The burger was good but the fries were awesome. I have to go back in a few weeks and I'm going to go back to the Iron Spike again. If I had to put one criticism, their to go beverage cups are small...More

As a craft beer fanatic I drove to Galesburg to see what this place was all about. Old firehouse converted into a bar. Really cool. Couldn’t sit inside because of COVID but outside seating was comfortable. Craft beer was excellent. I do wish they had...more IPA selection thought. Got some to go. I would probably put them in my top 20. The food is nothing special. It’s average. Service was great. Great place to go if you want to just relax and have a good brewski.More

The food is alright but it takes forever to come to you. Service is fine and maybe it would be better if we were drinking but we went for lunch and there were about three tables filled. We had a table of five and I...expect food to take a bit longer but we ordered sandwiches and burgers (cooked medium) so I didn't think it would take longer than 30 minutes. I can't imagine how slow it would be when it gets busier. There are not a lot of plant based options which is also tricky for our family as 3/5 don't eat meat. This was our second visit as the first time was meh and we thought it was a fluke. I'm now convinced it just runs slow and although our server was nice there was very little interaction so we didn't really feel connected to this place. Food was average at best. I feel like Galesburg has many other restaurants to try (and ones we've tried that were fantastic) where I'll never need to come back here. The inside of the building does look cool though.More

Always super busy with slow service. The food is decent, the atmosphere very loud. People seem to be having a good time. The old firehouse is a unique location.

Visited with my son who is a regular. Enjoyed by 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger, while enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich. Large portion sizes filled us easily. Amazed to find poutine, a Canadian staple, on the appetizer menu and had to order it. It was very...good, and generous portion would have fed 4. Also enjoyed a brewed in house rootbeer which was delicious. No free refills on rootbeer so enjoy the first one. Huge selection of in-house beers with weekly specials and mini glass samplers available. Highly recommended.More
