We hadn't eaten at an Applebees for quite awhile and we wont be back!! All 4 of our entrees were cold and didnt have a good flavor. Very disappointing! Staff was friendly, but couldn't make up for the terrible food!

My wife and I had stopped in to eat to celebrate her birthday. We both had ordered the new Homestyle Chcken Bowl. Their ulimtime bowl contains crispy chicken tenders served over garlic mashed potatoes, garlicky green beans, Applewood-smoked bacon and a blend of Cheddar cheeses,...smothered in gravy and topped with crispy onions. The price is $10.99 and this dish has 1420 calories if you are watching them. That will just about fullfil your 2000 per day calorie intake. Nevertheless, this meal was very good and filling. As garlic tends to give me heartburn, I was wondering if I was going to be suffering from it later as the write up on this meal seemed to let me believe that it was going to be very garlicky. That wasn't the case, which I was glad since I didn't have an Tagements with me. Very filling and delicious meal. We had the articoke dip as our appetizer. Their Perfect Patron Margarita tastes very good. Use top shelf liquors and you will produce a better product. All in all, a job very well done by all tonight at this Applebee's.More

I had taken my wife and son out to eat at Applebee's All You Can Eat special that they are having as I had gift cards left over as Christmas presents that I did not need to give out. - - - - By the...way, I need to segway for just a minute.....regardless if you are needing Christmas gifts or not, if you like Applebee's, BUY Their Christmas Gift Cards! They usually offer a special of you getting a $10 bonus card for every $50's worth of card that you buy. That is a 20% discounted gift to you. This is a good money savings deal. So buy the cards, use the bonus ones first to before they expire, then use the normal gift cards throughout the year for your meals. You are going to eat there anyway, so you might as well prepay basically and save 20%. Anyway, all three of us had ordered the All You Can Eat. You had a choice of fried shrimp, wings, or riblets with endless fries for your main dish, then the others in smaller portions. I had ordered the shrimp for my main portion, but it had appeared that they had given me both the shrimp AND a riblet for the main portion, plus I wanted the honey bbq wings. It didn't matter to me as I was going to eat all three anyway. Everything was very delicious and our waitress did a wonderful job! We will be back again. We LOVE Applebee's. I really appreciate a menu where each item has the calories listed. You can then order informed, or ask the server and their recommendations are excellent. Water is promptly refilled and you can top off a meal for $1 dessert which is the perfect size...and price.More

My wife and I had stopped in for supper. She had ordered a full rack of ribs so that I could take the lefteovers to work with me (I had apprecieated that), and I had ordered the loaded shrimp fajita. Appetizers were the Classic Buffalo...wings (I prefer the Honey BBQ over the spicy), and Spinach Artichoke Dip. I also had a couple of $1 margaritas (they are ok, you can drink them like water). Our meal with everything was filling and the temperatures were where they should've been. I like ordering fajitas (this one came with four flour tortillas compared to the normal three that you get) because you get a lot of food for the money and it comes to your table sizzling from that cast iron. Fajitas are filling and an affordable dish. Not many places offers a shrimp fajita which is why I had gone with it, something different. Our waitress was very nice. She was attentive to her customers, I never had to flag her down to refill my water glass. Not all Applebee's offer the same service (of course people are different), but the Galesburg store is usually on their "A" game. One thing that I like about Applebee's is that they have 1/2 priced apps after 9 pm. I like their Honey BBQ wings. So whenever I stop in for a late meal, I order two, so that I get twice the wings for the single price. It makes for more of a meal that way instead of just a mere snack.More

Great food and attentive wait staff. We had the 2 for 25 of steak and the shrimp and chicken. Very tender and tasty. There was also chicken parmesan that was two large breaded cutlets on a bed of pasta and a bread stick.

My wife and I had stopped in for supper. We had ordered the 2 for $20. We both had ordered the shrimp with side salad along with the spinach artichoke for our appetizer. The shrimp was well cooked and tasted meaty. The salad was nice...and crisp and very fresh. The artichoke dip was very tasty as well. This was one of the best experiances at this Applebee's that we've had. We will be back. You should give them a try.More
