The creativity of the speciality pizzas was outstanding! Create your own pizza is also an option. I was there during COVID so the only option was to go, but the atmosphere seemed fun and relaxed. The hardest part of the experience was deciding which pizza...to order--I decided on the potato! So good!More

I have been here numerous times, first time reviewing. Last visit was 2/14/20. I had the super cheese pizza and my wife had the potato pizza. Staff are always welcoming and nice, very attentive. The super cheese pizza is really, really good. I love cheese...and this fit the bill. I did get it w/out bleu cheese. The crust at baked is fantastic. It is crunchy on the outside and fresh and chewy on the inside. My wife loved her pizza as well. We got lucky. They were serving chocolate mousse that night and it was very good. In the past I have had their deep dish, which rivals some Chicago pizzarias. I am not too adventurous when it comes to pizza. We usually get sausage and red pepper. The pizza is always good. The atmosphere is awesome as well. Mismatched tables and chairs, old lps playing in the background, can't beat it.More

We were traveling to Iowa along I-74 when we were about an hour out from Galesburg. My husband suggested we stop there to get dinner. A quick online search of restaurants brought up Baked. I gave them a call and was greeted by an incredibly...helpful gentleman whose name I so wish I could remember! He rattled off all of their specialty pizzas (which they have A LOT) at my request. I asked if it would be a problem to order ahead for dine in and he said it wouldn't be a problem. Upon arrival to this cute downtown area, we easily found Baked. They had a table saved for us and our pizza was out within minutes. It was so good! The restaurant is really neat and they have tons of records that they play throughout the restaurant. If we get back through this area, we'll definitely make another visit!More

I have eaten at Baked many times and have also ordered out from them many times. The pizza is always excellent - great, flavorful crust - not too crisp, not too soft - just right. The toppings are interesting, mostly using local ingredients when possible....Lately I have been especially impressed with the quality and great taste of their salads. We heard this place had good pizza and I'm not much of a pizza eater anymore. Between double games at a HS double header we ordered the "standard" sausage and mushroom pizza. Very good. I was impressed by the clientele and the number of people...carrying out. Obviously a local favorite. My wife raved about the crust - almost a sour dough type yet crispy.More

baked offers some of the most unique pizza toppings I’ve ever seen. (One of my favs is their rhubarb!) The food is always amazing, the staff always friendly, and the place is always busy....but always worth any wait. Just hope now!

We ate here on a Thursday night and enjoyed our made-to-order pizzas quite a bit. You order at the counter and the staff bring the pizzas to your table, which are in the separate, somewhat shabby dining area. They didn’t have artichokes listed as a...topping but I inquired about it and was told they did, in fact have some. The amount of toppings were adequate but not nearly as abundant as you get at some of the fast service pizza places in bigger cities. I was in town for work today and stopped in for lunch. I had the Italian hot sandwich. It was one if the best sandwiches I've ever had. Delicious ingredients, everything extremely fresh. They use several different fresh veggies mixed with Italian meats and cheese....Kalamata olives, green olives, red and green peppers, mushrooms, fresh greens. The bread was fantastic. Lots of flavor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well (local artwork on the walls, quirky seating, great music). Reminded me of a Chicago style restaurant. I'm glad I stopped in for lunch. I will definitely return next time I'm in Galesburg.More

Informal atmosphere. The water bottles have old 45 RPM records with table # painted on the record. Service is friendly and you can customize your pizza. Great olives, kale, etc. and local-sourced meats. Check hours they are open first as they are often closed on...some afternoons. Choice of bottled craft beers. Pizza has medium thin crust.More
