This is our 2nd time back to Frank O'Dowd's and once again everything was very good. The atmosphere was very close to authentic Irish Pub and the "snug" was a nice addition. The waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. The food was good. My husband had the Bourbon Glazed New York Strip w/honey braised onions and I had the Grill... More

We are staying at the Irish Cottage, so after a day with a trolley tour and shopping in town, staying in for dinner felt like a good option. We had our toddler with us, so we were a little nervous when we saw the signs outside about supervising kids. But we shouldn't have worried. The staff was super friendly, even... More

We went for lunch on a gloomy February day. The staff was quite nice and the room decorated with the theme of an Irish Pub - we had Shepard's pie and a burger. Both were pretty tasty. I wish they'd had Irish music playing -- they do have live music some nights.

If you are going to order a drink, try any special that Joy has concocted. Joy's hot cocoa (liqueur) is more than lovely to keep you warm in winter. Limited lunch and dinner menu... Order the salmon! There is none better.

Good recreation of an Irish pub. Excellent selection of whiskey. Food was good, nothing extraordinary. Service was excellent.

Brandon was an excellent waiter. We had appetizers while waiting for Irish dancers to start at 6:30. Irish nachos n chocolate flake martini pictured. Yummo

By far the best get away accommodations! The pub makes it a one stop party! Drinks are well poured - try the Irish coffee. The fish fry is crispy and fresh!

We visited here for dinner on a VERY cold Sunday evening. Crowd was low. I ordered the burger, my husband ordered the shepherd's pie. Both were very good, but I thought the burger was top notch. The waitress seemed to be the only one working and was very attentive to the 3-4 tables that were full. The large screen tv... More

We had a fun time at Frank O'Dowd's on two separate occasions. Both times we went in for drinks and were served promptly by friendly staff. The interior makes you feel like you've walked into a bit of Ireland and there are plenty of tables. On Friday and Saturday nights in January they have live music starting at 7:30pm. The... More

We stopped in for dinner. It was Jan 2nd so there was really no one else in the place. Bartender/Server was very nice and the food came out quickly but it was tasteless. I got the fish and chips and it didn't have any flavor. Neither did the cheese curds we ordered for appetizer.
