I recommend the blue cheese soup, very tasty! Great place for a quick bite or a relaxing drink in the evening.

We love coming to Green St. Sitting in the front window, with a great view of all who pass by in Galena. Great ambiance, Great History, and Great prices. The patio is also a great place to bring joy to our hearts, and enjoy great food.. We will come back often..

I arrived on an early Friday evening - the bar was not overly busy, but it took them about 5 minutes to seat me. I waited 20 minutes for my waitress, who turned out to be the person who walked past me 5 times before she took my order! I ordered the Cuban sandwich, with potato salad - it took... More

We had dinner at The Greenstreet Tavern during Luminaria and Wedding in a Window. The town was sparkling with Candles and activity.

This Tavern is inside the Desoto Hotel. It was wonderful food and you can sit by the windows and catch people walk by and just enjoy the beauty of Galena IL

We went there for lunch. I got a pulled pork sandwich. It was good but nothing that stood out compared to other pulled pork sandwiches I have had. My wife got the Reuben and really liked it. Beer was reasonably priced.

Nice pub with good food. Creative menu items. Service can be a bit slow. Beautiful bar and location is right in the middle of the main street of shops. Old historical building.

We stopped here to have something in our bellies before heading to Wine Lovers Weekend. We split a Portabello Mushroom sandwich with no cheese and sweet potato fries. Without the cheese, the sandwich needed some salt, but was still very good, especially the red peppers. The fries were also very good, but some had stuck together in the fryer, making... More
