You decide, My teenage son and I came here on a Friday. I wanted fish. At 2:30 p.m. Here's our order, I had all you could eat 'fish special', A large piece of catfish, a good piece of cod and three pieces of perch, (and the waitress kept asking me if I wanted more)? a cup of soup, a good... More

Nice people, cheap food. Breakfast is the only tolerable meal at this place. Mass quantities of greasy carbohydrate laden sustenance for very little money. No fresh fruit, vegetables or meats. Just one of the numerous clone coffee shops that infest this town.

A greasy-spoon atmosphere, but the food is GREAT and a LOT of food, for very little cost. Breakfast comes on THREE plates! Every egg order is doubled, so if you just want 1 egg, you better ask for a 1/2 egg!

This place is dirty, food might be OK but mostly all you want is out. Lots of regulars appear to get "special" attention, strangers are quickly spotted.

Stopped here for lunch as it had a cool name. There are pictures of Eagles on the wall. Food was very inexpensive and an excellent value, as it included soup, which was tasty. Grapefruit juice was good too. Service was fine. Plenty of seating available, and parking outside. The place is open early in the morning, so looks like a... More

Especially if you're hungry, you might want to eat here. If you order 2 eggs, you'll get 4 (so be careful when you order). We enjoy the food, the service is quite good. The atmosphere is older, but clean. They serve lunch, too, though we haven't tried that.

This is a great little jewel of a restaurant in downtown Freeport Illinois. We were doing some very nice antique shopping downtown Freeport and were looking for a late lunch. You step back into the 60"s with the decor and food. Our friendy waitress recomended the home roasted and carved hot roast beef sandwich. It was to die for .... More
