Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nasty people! I have a service dog and I was harassed! I was told that he didn’t believe me because my dog was in a stroller. He hadn’t seen me with my dog so the dog wasn’t a service dog. My dog has allergies and...coughs. He said my dog was disruptive and I had to go. I called police.More

We loved the outdoor patio. It's protected from the elements and the busy street but you are still outside in the fresh air (well, kinda fresh since it's Chicago area). We were seated immediately and the service was great. We had the buffalo chicken salad,...grilled chicken sandwich and fish tacos. Food and drinks were really good. There is nothing Irish about this place if you are looking for that kind of food or ambience. The bar and indoor dining area looked like a typical old pub and some of its tables and chairs are from the iconic Berghoff Restaurant.More

Super friendly pub with above average food. Great beer selection, very attentive staff. I usually go for the patty melt or a very generous fish sandwich. Sides are good, my usual is onion rings but they added these little potato pancakes. My grandmother would love...them. Always a good option for a reliable night out.More

Clean, smells great, beer good and fresh with lots of variety, daily specials are super especially the tacos. Most of all it's the great service and management. Glad it's in my hood.

Saw the Master's here. What a fine dive. Dark, dank, with the odor of several decades of spilled beer. Multiple TV's. Attentive service. And, a fine burger. The patrons are a compatible mix of young west side hipsters and hard core old sippers. What's not...to like?More

Stopped in here with a friend and truly enjoyed 5he food and atmosphere. The Bears were playing and it was a little loud but hey it's a bar. We ordered springs rolls that were brought to us with an outstanding plate presentation. I ordered the...fried fish which came with a house salad or soup. I had the salad which had many toppings on it. The fish had cracker crust breading instead if the usual heavy batter. It also came with a big side of coleslaw and fries. My friend had the sloppy joe which came on a large roll. Erin our server was very friendly and attentive. She made sure my beer did not run dry. Great job! The food is above average for pub food. Stop in and give it a try. Nice atmosphere and warm.More

This seems to be a popular place for a young crowd. The drinks are good at good prices. Big bar and Tvs all over. Well worth it.

The bar has a pretty cool atmosphere with plenty of games to play while you drink. Beer selection was ok and service was ok. The food was not so great. The burgers were dry and flavorless, wraps were swimming in dressing and the salads were...almost all hearts and little leafy green. If you like onions you'll love this place because they give you the whole slice. The lack of servers made getting anything in a timely manner impossible. After we finished eating it took the server 15 minutes to bring our ticket, mostly because she had to run the whole place by herself. Now to the title of this review....where is the Irish? Almost no Irish food and few Irish drinks. This was a pretty big let down.More

O'Sullivans is a great sports bar in a village full of sports bars. Classic century-plus old building with corner turrent entrance. Atmosphere and TVs to viewer ratio good. Lots of locals and folks from neighboring towns. Good beer selection. The wine pour is a bit...stingy. The food ranged from average to very good, the burgers being the best. The Ceasar salad was so-so. Our waitress was polite and attentive, but she got the bill wrong three times, and two of four orders took a good while to arrive.More

We wound up in the area for a late dinner on a Bulls game night. $2 cans of Coors Light, but lots of other options to choose from. There's a lot of seating inside without feeling crowded. The bartenders and the staff greeted us when...we walked in, which was a nice surprise. We had a vegetarian with us, and unfortunately they were out of the portabella mushroom sandwich. Between our group, we had a spread of options. The salads were a hit. The potato skins were fresh and cheesy. Washed down with the cold beers and ciders, we were happy with everything.More
