This place is always really good. Owned by Gibson's steakhouse. The menu is similar. The fried calamari are outstanding and the sliders are tasty. Highly recommend the bar area with live pianist.
I've always believed Casino food sucks. It might look good, but the taste seldom matches the presentation (actually NEVER in my experience). Hugo's Frog Bar at the Rivers Casino is a rare exception and is definitely worth the drive if you are in that area. Their steaks are phenomenal, as is their veal. The seafood is great too. Service is always outstanding from the moment you walk into the door. The server was knowledgeable about the menu as well as accommodating to our requests. If you're getting dessert please be advised that they are rather large and something you might want to share.
Food was great but the prices are pretty high. We would have loved to get steak & understand paying for quality, but not one cut is under $50. There isn't really any reasonable options. Drinks are $15 +. Restaurant is in the Casino, the Casino SUCKS.
really great place for dinner the food was excellent as was the service. a good mix of meal types and sizes for all
This was our 3rd time at Hugo's in the Casino. Five Star all the way! From the ambiance, excellent service and outstanding dinner selections. I had the Sea Bass and my husband had the veal chop. We also had the lobster appetizer in an artichoke with a spicy sauce. OMG, delicious! Great reasonable wine list and scrumptious sundae dessert for... More
Service was just OK but that's not why I gave it three stars the steaks we had a fillet and a bone in ribeye really no taste I've been to this restaurant a few times before and had a really good meal I just hope they didn't switch their steaks in the last year or so
I been at Hugo's Restaurant many times. Last three times the WR Cut (big ribeye) was not acceptable. It does not taste like Prime. Not juicy and not tender. Service and Staff are friendly. Quality of food is not what supposed to be or what use to be, probably because the location. Still not acceptable. If you want a better... More
