Visited this place while on business in Chicago. Great local bar feel with awesome food. I had the Fajitas and they were excellent. All the servers were very nice and attentive. I will be going back there when visiting in the future.

I love neighborhood joints and Jefferson Tap delivers! Tasty food, generous pours, and loads of TV's to watch make for a fun experience. Best chilaquiles I've had, too. My kids totally devoured the pulled pork sammies and nachos - and my michelada was excellent. We'd...More
There's not really much to like about this place that turns out industrial tasting food with indifferent service. As a sports bar, it's ok. As a bar or a restaurant there are many other place in the neighborhood that do it better, including New Line...More
Only regulars get served, drinks are a rip off, staff acts surly to you regardless of how nice you are. Bathrooms are feces laden by 11pm and overflowing (at least men's room when I was - no lock on door but only one toilet).
Make bartender "Jackie" spent the entire time flirting with some floozies he A-should not have been serving and B-were way out of his league. Nobody at the bar but impossible to get a drink. When we asked Jackie if the girls needed an uber home...More

Off the beaten path, Jefferson Tap has great service (especially at the tables), good food, wifi (ask for the password), and plenty of TVs. And solid specials. And a sidewalk setup! There's really no reason why you should't go here and go often.
Had lunch here 2 weeks ago. Couldn't decide between the Ruben and the Steak Taco Salad. Taco Salad won out and what a great choice. Server was not the best and it was after the lunch rush. Plan to dine here again.
