From the first glimpse inside this restaurant, I was impressed with its beautiful decor and elegant waiters. The menu was explained to us in detail, as we were not accustomed to Russian Food. The service was excellent. The food was amazing!

Stepping into Russian Tea Time feels like stepping back in time. The dining room is elegant. The food is tasty and hearty. The fish platter is lovely as is the vegetarian stew. The service is very good. A classic - worth a visit.

Excellent food and tea. I had their Russian house tea which was very smokey in flavor. I loved it. The three tiers of small sandwiches and desserts were delightful. It's in a great location, just down the street from the Chicago Art Institute.
