Service isn't great but the good is good and it's open late. The price is very reasonable and the smoothies are fantastic.

Lee Wing Wah has good authentic Chinese food. We have come here for many years. Food is tasty and reasonable priced. Our favorite is the Walnut Shrimp. We also like their steamed Pike fish and Beijing Pork Chop. It does get crowded on the weekends.

Nice place - there are a lot of choices on the menu and the restaurant was not too crowded. We had the Chicken and Corn Soup, Sweet and Sour Fish, and Shrimp Fried Rice. The service was very friendly and the portions were generous and tasty. There's always such a variety to choose from and they don't skimp out on... More

Went to Lee Wing Wah for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The Hot & Sour Soup was exellent with a great spice kick. The Chicken with Vegatables had a smooth dark gravy that was very tasty. The only issue I had was, most of the waitresses could not speak English & the plate that I was eating... More

The food was alright, its the service that was really iffy. The cokes they gave us were hot, so we had to get cups with ice. The cokes were in the back and one of the cans had a bit of dirt on it. May sound childish, but it gave me a bad vibe that the storage room is dirty.... More

We have been going to this restaurant since 2000. Most of the time we are the only non- Chinese patrons in the restaurant which means that the locals know this place serves authenic home type cooking. This restaurant ranks well above other neighboring Chinatown restaurants. If you like whole fresh fish steamed with fresh ginger, scallions and hot peppers, fresh... More

Patronized this place about 7pm, after the Chgo Auto Show.... Not too packed, but understandable considering it was freezing out.....Food, price and service a 4 on scale of 5.......Main problem I have is the decor and especially washroom, which really need a good scrub down.

I brought my youth group to Chinatown and just planned to find a place when there. There were 25 of us. I stopped in to inquire, and they already knew we were looking for a place for our group and said they'd be happy to accommodate us. They set up the tables very comfortably. I started to look for dishes... More

My first ever 1* review :-( Please stay away from this place, there is absolutely no reason to eat at this horrible 'restaurant'. So many other amazing choices in Chinatown! Had 2 appetizers (both dry and had no taste), 3 entrees - all were horrible, greasy, no taste and served cold. Left 2 en trees after we all tasted it,... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown may be one of Chicago’s smallest neighborhoods geographically, but it's big on character, colors, sights, sounds, and flavors. In this South Side neighborhood, you’ll find authentic Chinese restaurants dotting the length of Wentworth Avenue. After a meal of dim sum, noodles, duck or other tantalizing food specialties, satiate your visual appetite with dozens of public art sculptures sprinkled throughout the neighborhood ranging from animal structures to pagodas, a tile mosaic, Chinatown Gate, and a Buddhist Temple.
