Had a deep dish pizza with their special sausage. Very tasty. Nicely cooked. The atmosphere and decorations were a great attribute to this fine establishment. I will be suggesting this place to my friends.

In many past visits I have enjoyed the food and service, but not last night. I was with a group of ten. My wife and I wanted a separate check. We were warned they could only reduce it to 3 separate checks for the group. When the bill came, it seemed to include everyone. We thought that terribly inconvenient, because... More

Part of very large group that had pre-ordered pizza. I was not eating it so ordered a beef sandwich. Truthfully, I was very disappointed with the beef as it was very dry and had to ask for au jus to moisten the bread to eat the beef. saving grace was the vegetables that were served with the meal - excellent!... This restaurant has been a special place for me to bring out-of-town visitors to sample Chicago style pizza. It also is our go-to place for our family for dining out and for delivery if we prefer. I love the chopped salad with the house dressing. My kids have always loved the pepperoni deep dish pizza. We have been there for... More

Great atmosphere, great food for a decent price and friendly service. Lots of old pictures of folks in Chicago to look at while you wait for your food!

That is not deep dish pizza. That is mediocre bread with cheese and a few toppings thrown on top. The Mango Sangria is mango flavored sugar water with a tiny bit of alcohol tossed in, and the ranch dressing they gave us with our sampler appetizer platter gave us food poisoning. I should have known when I walked up and... More

My local friend brought me here because it's her favorite deep dish pizza place. It's a nice family style place and the pizza was really good. The pizza from here also fared better the next day than Pequod’s Pizza. I'd give the fresh pizza 4 stars and the cold leftovers 2.5 stars. I guess Chicago pizza does age as well... More

We are staying in Chinatown but wanted a real Chicago pizza experience for our first dinner here. We scored! We had the Margherita pizza and the spinach and ardachoke dip and loved every single bite. If you're lucky enough to get Alfonso as your server, the experience is just that much better. So glad we came!

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown may be one of Chicago’s smallest neighborhoods geographically, but it's big on character, colors, sights, sounds, and flavors. In this South Side neighborhood, you’ll find authentic Chinese restaurants dotting the length of Wentworth Avenue. After a meal of dim sum, noodles, duck or other tantalizing food specialties, satiate your visual appetite with dozens of public art sculptures sprinkled throughout the neighborhood ranging from animal structures to pagodas, a tile mosaic, Chinatown Gate, and a Buddhist Temple.
