Great local restaurant with cool vintage decor. Enjoyed breakfast complete with famous cinnamon buns. Good value for your money in the city. Our group enjoyed omelets, eggs, ham, fruit bowl and cinnamon buns. Breakfast meats were fresh and tasty. Good service. Conveniently located near Belmont L stop. Definitely worth a trip.

I recently was in Chicago for a wedding, and we had the morning to explore the city. My mom is a Chicago native, and ate here when she was younger with my grandparents. I had never been before and I'm so happy I got the change to come eat here! The cinnamon rolls are a must-order item, they were so... More

Had Sheppard's pie for lunch. 2 pm seemed a little late for infamous their breakfasts. It came with the famous cinnamon rolls. Took some home to my grandkids. They liked them, but enjoyed the monkey bread they had the day before more. The staff was very friendly and you will definitely not leave hungry.

Had catering from Ann Sather for two breakfast events. The sweet rolls are very good and the egg dishes have delicious flavor and full of healthy veggies. Really like the taste and selection. Good Job!

A Chicago landmark that has evolved over the decades, the food is still solid if not spectacular. The sweet rolls are still pretty good, albeit seems to have shrunk in size significantly. Service is still decent. If I had to choose for breakfast fare alone, Walker's would still win out. But if I wanted Svedish meatballs or the sweet rolls,... More

Just got back from a weekend in Chicago for the World Series. And in a city with many, many wonderful places for breakfast and brunch, I went to Ann Sather TWICE. That's not my usual style, but I just love this place so much. Their cinnamon rolls have been hearlded many times - rightfully so - and I am a... More

Ate here while visiting Chicago for the CUBS World Series. A walk fro Wrigley but was nice to get away from the fast foods on Clark street and sit and dine. Good breakfast. Service was fantastic. Would eat here again.

I've loved Ann Sather's restaurants since I was a kid; and having moved from Chicago a number of years ago, coming back was like coming home. And I was welcomed with cinnamon rolls. :) The atmosphere is welcoming, and the wait staff are very friendly. Our waiter set us up with free cinnamon rolls to go at the end of... More

We went in to grab a bite because everything within a mile of Wrigley was packed during the World Series. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and food during this crazy time. They have some pretty great food but I was really impressed that the server was so good natured during this time. Pretty rare in my experience.
