Visited Chicago on business and had only a three day stay, so I was desperate to find a good deep dish pizza place. Luckily, Lou's was near my hotel and I visited with colleagues for a late dinner on a Wednesday. The place was busy...More

The wait was a little lengthy on a Thursday night, but so worth it! This was our first trip to Chicago and since we love pizza, Lou's was a no brainer! Their garlic cheese bread was excellent and pizza was delicious. Service was friendly, and...More

Deep dish pizza is, perhaps, Chicago's greatest contribution to the world, and Lou Malnati's is the master of such pizza! This place is always busy, but it is very understandable why. Their deep dish pizza is literally the best in the world. Well, I think...More

This place had been recommended to on the first day we were in Chicago, finally went on last day there. Being from New York we are used to thin crust pizza and aren't crazy about deep dish. Let me tell you, we ordered Lou's deep...More

When in Chicago deep dish is a must. Unless you have people in your group who are gluten free. Lou Malnatis is the only good pizza place that makes a good gluten free - the crust isn't deep dish but it has more substance than...More

Gordon was a great representative of this Italian Gem. Had lunch there on Sunday October 8. Restaurant was extremely busy. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He was right on!

I love pizza. However, I think deep dish as a concept is overrated (I only went because I was in Chicago and it's famous for deep dish...) - I'm personally not a massive fan of overly cheesy pizza, so I was pleased that the tomato...More

Had to wait over an hour (when being told 40 mins) to be seated and then waited another 30 mins for the pizza to come. Maybe I'm just not keen on deep dish but it wasn't great, average at best!More

Very different to home, place your pizza order whilst waiting. We were lucky to get a free bruschetta voucher from our hotel and it was massive and great. We had a pepperoni pizza for 2. Size was ok, we ate it all. Not that impressed...More

Yes, our pizza sauce contains chunks of tomatoes. If you do not want chunks of tomato, you can always request your pizza be made with our thin crust sauce (same sauce, just pureed a bit more so there are fewer chunks).
