My son and I each ordered the strawberry crepes. They are the best!! Order them. Eat them. Don't share!! My husband said his typical eggs, bacon, toast breakfast was the best he's had in a long time. My other son had the strawberry/banana Dutch baby...More

This is a wonderfully cute cafe for breakfast! The buttermilk pancakes, sausage links, ham and syrup were incredible! Skip the coffee...it was overpriced for the quality. Sit outside if you can, so quaint!

We were staying at the Thompson Chicago across the street and this was convenient. Food is ok with the service to match. Big in proportion especially their pancakes. Try if you're in the neighborhood, but not worth making time for it.

Excellent meal but the wait was much too long without comfortable seating options for those waiting.

The pancakes at this place are truly the best we have ever tasted! Understandably on both days we visited the queue was out the door and down the street and the restaurant was jammed! But they call themselves the Original Pancake House and that is...More

The service was on time but nothing extraordinary. The food I think is normal, nothing to say about it.

I took my niece here for breakfast since it was just across from the Thompson Chicago where we were staying. The wait for an outside table was 30 minutes, but on such a perfect day, it was well worth the wait.

On a simple walk from our hotel we entered into this institution several days ago. Such terrific food and adored the Dutch babies. Tried the original and upside down apple pancake on two separate visits. Won't hesitate to return when visiting Chicago again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast we had! I had the waffles with strawberries & whip cream and they were to die for! My daughter had a skillet meal and she loved it. My husband had a thin pastry thing with strawberries and bananas and also...More

I'm not sure but I don't think so. You won't be waiting too long if you have to wait. We've never had to wait for a table though.
Is this a large restaurant? You can't tell by looking at the photo.

They have an amazing vegetarian omelet, full of fresh veggies as well as a good selection of other egg dishes. If you are looking for a vegan menu, I am not sure there is a lot to choose from but gluten free should not be a... More
