I had just arrived in Chicago that day and wanted a nice quiet, dinner to myself within a short walk from my hotel. Lloyds was perfect. The waiter recommended their seafood (though they also had steak, burgers, etc.) and I chose the horseradish Dijon encrusted whitefish which was so good I ate every bite. Also, they had a lovely martini... More

I met my attorney there for lunch to catch up and discuss some business. We were well served by Julie with a smile. The only hiccup was the plain chopped salad that I ordered. First it came with chicken, next it came with bacon, but they did get it right when Chris the manger checked to make sure they had... More

I've dined at Lloyd's for about 10 years, but this is the first time that I'm reviewing them. You can count on Lloyd's to provide consistently great food and service. I've dined at Lloyd's for business and pleasure (happy hour) and the venue is appropriate for both types of gatherings. Their carry out food is also very good and consistent.... More

The Chicago loop area offers a vast array of lunch options. Lloyd's is conveniently located on Wacker Drive and offers a spacious outdoor dining area during the summer months. I've been dining at Lloyd's for over 10 years, including their prior location on Madison Avenue. Therefore I have had numerous business and casual lunches here and always receive great service... Went for a business lunch. The calamari was ok (not great - try Italian Village for that). Everyone (5 people) loved their entrée so I have to give it them for consistency. Seafood salad was pointed out as great. Short ribs very good. I had the fettuccine and it was nicely done (a bit of heat but not too much).... More

Get here early for seating to enjoy an excellent prepared meal of your choosing. Otherwise if you are a group make a reservation for a family style meal of your choosing including a scrumptious dessert potpourri.

This isn't a foodie spot but if your headed to the opera it's the perfect spot to grab a sandwich, steak, or some fish. Nothing really disappoints. Two of us had dinner, drink, and a really good pecan tart for desert do about $70. Remember that Chicago has a 11 or 12 % tax so the meal itself was reasonable.

Three of us came wandering in on a snacky whim to Lloyd's. I was thinking it would be a tourist trap of high prices for nothing too special. I was proved wrong in the best way possible. We came in at a weird time before their official dinner hours. The place was dead- which was odd yet very agreeable- for... More

If u r downtown looking for place to have reasonable priced business lunch, this is it. Sit outside in summer. I love the salads. I am 65 years of age and estimate I have had their lunch close to 1000 times over 20 years. Yes 1000. No kidding.

Food and service were both good, solid but not outstanding. The primary attraction for me is that the noise level stays moderate even when they are packed at lunch, making it a good place for a business conversation.
