Upon entering softly lit restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us in Timothy's section. He quickly came and provided warm breads and butter and took our cocktail order. Our first course of shrimp cocktail arrived fresh and well chilled. The second course clam chowder came warm and nicely seasoned. The other course of pear salad contained... More

Had a walk-in lunch at the bar and couldn't pass on the steak. Medium rare (did have to send back and get one less done). The service was very courteous and proper. The feel was perfect for the experience.

I went to the Grillroom with my boyfriend, sister, and her fiance before seeing Hamilton. The service was great and the food was even better. I recommend trying a Hamilton themed drink if you get the chance - the "Hamil-teeny" was delicious.

Went there by myself and arrived just as the theatre crowd was emptying. Sat at the wine bar and once I ordered my food I basically was forgotten about. I sat with dirty plates while the bartender talked to a pair of loud and obnoxious guests. For a chophouse they have a limited steak menu and for a wine bar... More

Dined at the Grillroom before seeing Hamilton in the theatre directly across the street. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff perfect. We arrived a few moments early for our reservation and we were greeted by a coat check and great host. The first inquiry was about theatre tickets and the understanding of being finished in time of the show.... More

We chose The Grillhouse because of its menu and location which is directly across the street from the theatre where Hamilton was playing. Within our party, we had Wedge Salads, French Dip sandwich, Crab cake sandwich, and a Southwest chicken salad. Staff was friendly and attentive and the portions were large. The meat on the French dip was exceptional! The... More

Wide range of food options, with a great selection of seafood. The seafood is fresh, cooked to perfection and huge -- so come hungry!

The food is very good for a nice dinner date. We did not bring our kids but they do not have a kids menu. Everything is À la cart. The pulled pork mac and cheese was awesome and could be a meal on it's own.

The food was excellent and the service was personal. It was so easy to catch dinner here after watching the Hamilton matinee. The restaurant is located directly across the street from the PrivateBank theater. We had a 5:30 reservation--but probably could have scheduled for 5:15 instead. The house salad was probably the best salad I have ever eaten- delicious!

The service was great, friendly and attentive. I had the scallops appetizer (delicious but too salty) with a side of brussel sprouts (which, though tasty were so charred, I left a lot of the outer leaves behind). The carbonara was also a little too salty for my tastes but it was a huge portion and I plenty for lunch the... More
