Visited this restaurant with a vegetarian friend. I tried her PB milkshake & it was honestly the BEST shake I've ever had & I believe it was vegan?! I'm not vegetarian but I occasionally order vegetarian food when other options are less appealing. I went for a sandwich, nothing special but it was the most filling meal I had on... More

I am vegan but live in an area where I don't have many restaurant choices that are easy for me. This place was everything I hoped for and more. It was a bit small on the inside so I felted a bit cramped. I forgot about it quickly when I got my food though! Awesome milkshakes, my husband (an omnivore)... More

I had an amazing burger and the best milkshake I've ever had in my entire life here (it was chocolate peanut butter). As a student, it was a bit pricey, but honestly so so worth the slight splurge!

I didn't know when my colleague planned to take me to this place for dinner that it is a vegan joint. It is a busy place, we had to wait for around 30 mins in their patisserie (they serve beer at the patisserie). I tried chicken wings on buffalo sause, all veg! Tasted great as well. They have also have... More

Great vegan food at affordable prices. My carnivore friend can't stop raving about the vegan rubeun and the sweet potato fries. Comfort food without the carcass.

Always pleased when a vegetarian place does the cooking well. And then the dessert... I have a feeling in a blind test, most people can't tell that the desserts are vegan. If all meat free meal are like this, convert me to vegetarian, even to vegan!

I ate here with my almost-daughter-in-law on a Friday afternoon. She has the Radical Reuben and "cheese" fries (her favorite) and I opted for the Truffle Mushroom Lentil Loaf. It was moist and delicious, and smothered in rich gravy-like sauce. I had decided to forgo the potatoes so the server brought me extra veggies, which were fresh and crisp and... More

Normally I would not go to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. However, the Chicago Diner had plenty of options that were palatable and more so. /Mushroom barley soup was great as was the Poutine appetizer. And the Milkshakes were fabulous.

I ate here with my friend who is a strict vegan. I thought she might pass out from joy! The food is delicious and beautifully presented even if you are not vegetarian/vegan. Solid cocktails as well. I liked how varied the menu is. The atmosphere is very much like a diner (small, close together tables), but the food itself goes... More

Maybe I'll become a vegetarian! The quinoa chili and the mushroom truffle meatloaf were amazing to the last bite! Need the recipes!
