I really liked this place. It has a very blue collar feel to it, which made it feel like I was with some friends, even though I wasn't. I really liked that they had a bunch of different deep dish pies one could grab a slice from, rather than having to get a whole pie. This allowed me to sample... More

Growing up in an Italian family it is difficult to find a restaurant that has the same flavor and authenticity my family brought from the old country. Makes me think of the family dinners growing up.

I don't think you could find a more perfect ratio between sauce, cheese, and toppings anywhere in the world. The pre-cooked pizza per slice may create some skepticism amongst pizza connoisseurs, this restaurant is perfect for local, Chicago-style deep dish.

Found this place because of great reviews on Yelp and they were right. Excellent pizza by the slice to you can enjoy several different types of pizza's in one visit. Inexpensive, mondo-sized pieces ( I love pizza and could only put away 3 slices) and very helpful staff.

I was looking for a different place to try a deep dish at, and I came across the art of pizza in a google search. it had won some awards, and it wasn't far from the area I was in. there was a menue online, but truthfully, I didn't really look at it because all I wanted was a deep... More

Greatest pizza I've ever eaten. End of story. I've tried a ton of pizzas elsewhere, but none of them come close to The Art of pizza. Everything from the crust to the sauce was just perfect. A must whenyou're in Chicago

Wanted to try deep dish pizza, but only wanted a slice not the whole pizza. The restaurant is in a shopping strip around 4-5 miles outside of downtown area. They had few options to choose from, we tried the plain cheese with onions and peppers. The pizza was OK, nothing too special, it was very saucy but the sauce was... More

Without question this is the best pizza I've had in Chicago. I've tried all the name-brand chains and the sauce here trumps them all - plus you can get it BY THE SLICE! This is a must stop whenever you're in Chicago!

The Art of Pizza is the reason to visit Chicago. The stuffed pepperoni and sausage pizza is simply the best. The picture attached says all you need to know. It's local, authentic and they have expanded so there's plenty of space to go with a group. Every time I am in Chicago, it's required. Enjoy!

Our first time in Chicago and we love this place, it was awesome and notoo expensive. They have great pizzas and was worth trying, their salads were great too. The front gentlemen was very knowledgeable and had great customer service.
