We had a delicious breakfast here. The menu has a lot of variety with both traditional breakfast and some diverse offerings. We would definitely return. Parking was easy on Sheridan.

We had a delicious breakfast here on my first morning in Chicago. They offer a lot of vegetarian options and great coffee.

My daughter took us to the Growling Rabbit for breakfast this past Sunday. We checked in with the hostess and then waited, waited and waited for our table. Turns out she failed to write down my daughter's name. When we were finally seated my daughter told the waiter that we were in a bit of a hurry. That comment did... More

This place is always busy not only because of it's location but because of the good food it delivers. It somewhat reminds me of a diner. The area around this restaurant are mainly apartments that is why the parking is a commodity but, the two times I have been here we found parking fairly quickly(less than two minutes). I think... Good coffee and snacks. Great employees. Fun atmosphere. Where all the locals go to relax and have a bite. Good prices.

I have been twice now, and put it on my list of places I must go to again in Chicago before I move. I've had the Brie and Ham Crepe both times and it is melt in your mouth delightful. The people I've dined with have had the Apple Maple Bacon Crepe and the Cuban Sandwich, both were also phenomenal.... More

We went there with 8 adults and 4 very young kids. The waitress was very accommodating to put us sitting together connecting 3 tables. I would not recommend this in the future because the place is not set up to host a big party. It is a neighborhood gem. The food is excellent: banh mi is really delicious, crepe is... More

Both my husband and I got omelettes and we loved them - they were delicious and the portions were generous. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. My only complaint is the less-than-fresh apple my husband got. I assume that's not the norm. This place also has a nice, but small, eating area outside. It's a great little place and... More

When I come for a visit to Chicago, I always make time for a walk along the beach and brunch at 'The Growling Rabbit'. The service is friendly and swift and the atmosphere is definitely 'community driven' Chicago style. They also have a wonderful outdoor patio when the weather is warm. The Growling Rabbit offer fab bakery goods, baked on... More
