The Local Lettuces Salad and the beef entree - the B.E.S.T ever! The staff was excellent. The decor perfect. The breakfasts were also outstanding. The adult beverages were also excellent. The whole experience was fantastic.

We frequented Perennial Virant several times because it was right next door to the Hotel Lincoln and very convenient; but after eating there, convenience was only a small part of why I would recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious! We hosted a Sunday morning Brunch in a private room that turned out to be perfect from the food to... More

We visited on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy and service fine. Starters we had the salad which was pleasant and had nice crumble of chèvre. The main was meant to be Arctic char but due to availability sockeye salmon was substituted. The fish was a little dry in its cooking, the rice heavily over salted,... More

Food was delicious. We started with the charcuterie platter. It was delicious and they gave you enough bread which oftentimes restaurants don't. Then we had trout, which was very rich but tasty, and char which also was well done. Desserts were ok -- blueberry flan and chocolate tart. Service started out great but deteriorated, probably due to several large parties... More

Creatively, crafted food, beautifully presented, and delicious. I loved the outdoor dining patios, private enough to engage in conversation and sufficiently open to observe city life in the surrounding street. I loved the STEELHEAD TROUT with green bean, tomato and ginger sofrito, basmati rice, mushroom fu man chu and the THE TONIC AND GINS with ford’s gin, ransom old tom... More

We stopped here twice while in town. It was a few blocks from our rental and directly across from Lincoln Park. The restaurant is a part of the Hotel Lincoln and the patio is a great place for people watching. We stopped for brunch on Saturday and had amazing food! Our Bloody Mary's were great, and the fresh raspberry glazed... More

We were staying in the hotel and used the Perennial for breakfast and a couple of evening meals. You won't be let down, the food was great.

Easy to get s brunch reservation. Food was very good. Service was excellent. If it hadn't been raining it would have been nice to eat outside. I'd like to go back for dinner. Just very pleasant place!!!

This was a setting the a 15 year reunion gathering. The staff was very nice and gave us lots of drink options and some nice entrees. The selection was very limited and didn't appeal to everyone, and some times I didn't know what I was eating. I wish they labeled some of the not obvious dishes.

We wanted to find a place for breakfast before we went into the Lincoln park Zoo. Did we ever! Amazing farmers breakfast...eggs cooked to perfection, slagel sausage, what's that you say? Sausage from a nearby farm of course. Home fries that are not greasy and multi grain thick cut toast with homemade raspberry jam. Fresh squeezed juice and nice hot... More
