Stopped here after a show at The Second City for a bite to eat. Husband and I aren't drinkers but the food was excellent! Not too crowded on a Friday night and atmosphere was nice.

After visiting the Zoo Lights, we walked to this restaurant with some family members who had been there before. It's a small, unique pub. As we walked in, we got lucky and a table was getting up so we could be seated. You make friends easily with the tables being so close together. It was a friendly environment, but because... More

We were staying in the Lincoln Park area and went out for a walk and just happened to happen upon Corcorans It was absolutely buzzing on a Saturday night and we found out the Cubs were playing (and won) the baseball divisional final game so that helped the atmosphere for sure It's a deceptively long premises and you walk through... Great Irish Pub in Old Town. The pub is maybe 18 feet wide with the bar along one wall and booths and tables of varying size along the other. The staff was courteous, friendly and attentive without smothering us. (I hate smothering) it's obviously a locals hangout and the crowd was constant and the chatter made talking difficult; but the... More

We decided to let the fates decide where we would have dinner before our Friday night (8:00) show at Second City. Fortunately we were in the area early and poked our noses in Corcoran's. We found a solid menu and beverage selection, comfortable atmosphere, and an open table for 8...sold! I think we all had something different to eat and... More

Claire is a terrific server! We ordered blackened salmon, but it wasn't blackened. It was still awesome! The watermelon, red onion, and tomato salad was incredible. Highly recommend this place!

Popped in to Corcoran's for a pint with the wife before our Second City experience. We didn't get to eat, so I can't comment on the food, but I will say that the location is extremely convenient if you are planning to attend Second City. We'll be back on our next visit and we plan to dig in to the... More

This is a sports bar type restaurant across from Second City. Service was slow, and we became a bit nervous as we had a show to attend. We ordered a variety of foods since there were seven of us. Many of us ordered the fish and chips, which we all liked. Several salads, which we were happy with. The drinks... More

Great little Irish pub in the Lincoln Park district. Fun place to hang or grab an afternoon snack. Street terrace and beer garden available. Food was excellent and served very quickly (granted it was mid-afternoon, but still). 14 on-tap beer choices and delicious margaritas, too (you can taste & feel the tequila- so that's a good sign). Daily deals are... More
