Came here for a company dinner in a private room. First off, the main server we had was someone who obviously knew the etiquettes of serving and it really showed. She was also very friendly - definitely a star at this establishment. As a large group, we had an option of a combination platter of sorts that had an assortment... More

This place has charisma, delicious food, and location. Situated on the Chicago river, the dining room is surrounded with glass walls that provide views in the evening of lighted skyscrapers, the El trains as they pass through a bridge over the Chicago river and even has outdoor seating with tables overlooking the Chicago river. The steak is the finest as... More

Let me begin this review by saying that our overall experience and meal were excellent. I had a few quibbles that could be considered "nit-picky" or even pedantic. They are admittedly minor and in no way would keep me from dining here again. Here we go: PROS: *The steaks were cooked to perfection! I had the filet, which was super... More

We went on Friday night. Packed. Very noisey. Can't converse very well. Had Todd for a server. He was great and we highly recommend him. He made it a great experience. We shared the lobster escargot . It does have a lot of cheese, but also a lot of lobster. It's unique and you need to try it. My wife... More

Went there for the first time. Very fancy, very nice. Wife's 6 oz filet was mouth watering and my 16 oz Iowa chop was very good but nothing exceptional Steak cost was $40.00 and my chop was $29.00. Mixed drinks were $14.00 apiece but over all, even though our $187.00 meal with dessert was exceptional it took quite a hit in... More

Visited while on a business trip and it was incredible. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The steaks were juicy and cooked to perfection. We were a group of 8 and ordered 5 steaks and a handful of side dishes and there was plenty to eat. They have a great selection of wine, I will definitely return... More

Had dinner at the Chicago Cut Steakhouse; excellent service and wonderful atmosphere with a river view. The food and wine pairing was wonderful. I felt like I was in a old movie classy restaurant. I highly recommend the food, service and location.

Sat on their outdoor deck yesterday for lunch enjoying the 65 degree temps. Great view of river and boats passing by. 4 adults plus a 2 year old and could not have been a better experience! Julian took great care of us and went out of his way to make sure everyone including baby was happy! Will go back again... More

With record high temperatures for February, the outdoor dining area is in full swing. When the weather is good, this is one of the best spots on the Chicago River, with great views of passing boats and trains. My husband and I had a delicious brunch at Chicago Cut. For brunch, they offer both the breakfast and lunch menus. The... More
