I have tried Negroni in many bars around the world and I can confidently say that Sable makes an excellent Negroni cocktail. You can choose your own vermouth (my preferred ones are Carpano Formula Antica and Cocchi) which allows you to customize your drink.

Came for a meeting and stopped here for breakfast. It is adjacent to the Hotel Palomar. Had a simple meal; 2 eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast. The highlight was the house-made sausage, delicious. They also have a very good Bloody Mary.

This place got chosen by a friend. Was fairly upscale. Seemed to be more known for its drinks than its food. The drinks were good but the food portions were small. You will need some appetizers. Prices seemed about average for the area.More
