We were in Chicago for 4 nights and had carefully planned our dining experience. We were really looking forward to Mexique‎. What a cluster. We had reservations for birthday treat. We took the long cab ride from mag mile to Mexique. We're seated. And then...More

My understanding of Mexique is it's a French twist on Mexican cuisine. Don't go there expecting the typical taco, enchilada, fajita fare of most Mexican restaurans. The food was fabulous! The short ribs are out if this world. Great service tops off the evening.

We went to different restaurants Michelin star rated in this 5 days trip , but the way we ate in mexique was unique . The Mexican-French fusion cuisine is excellent . The service was pretty good , only one mistake.

This is a wonderful, fine dining place with a casual un-stuffy vibe. We chose the tasting menu, with our wives opting for sangria while my son and I did the wine pairing. Wonderful tastes in 6 courses. Brief descriptions don't do the food justice....each has...More

Cooking is an art and Mexique's cuisine is a beautiful painting! No wonder this is a Michelin star restaurant, from reservation to the end of your meal, service is outstanding! Raul took excellent care of our table, his knowledge of the restaurant's history, the delicious...More

Went to Mexique after reading reviews in Trip Advisor. We had to Uber it there as it is not in the downtown area. It was well worth the trip! This is a small place and there were 4 of us in our party. Each couple...More

This restaurant briefly enjoyed a Michelin star, and it's easy to see why. The fact that the star was removed after one year -- allegedly for inconsistency -- is one reason why getting a table, at least during the week, does not seem to be...More
