I’ve tried almost every dish here. Pizza is awesome. They have wine! The place is cozy and comfy. Very good for friends.

While recently visiting Carbondale, we made an obligatory stop at the Italian Village. During my college years, my friends and I often visited for the spaghetti with meat sauce. My memories are so found of that dish that I was reluctant to try it again....More
I was very surprised when I seen on the wall that this business is been open for decades. It was one of the worst tasting pizza is I have ever experienced. The pizza crust was soft and It had a very doughy taste to it....More

The Italian Village isn't a bad place, it's just not an amazing place. They score as a 3.5 out of 5, but not a 4. The Italian Sausage Sandwich isn't bad. The pizza is pretty average.
Lasagna was not very good. Expected more from a hometown place like this. Had the pizza before and it was good. But I can't recommend the lasagna.

We opted for carry out. The service was a tad slow. Food was very good at a great price. The place had a college hangout atmosphere with carved messages in the wooded walls. Sort of cool.
