We sat at the bar (not in a distant, invisible table). For ten minutes, the bartenders ignored us. No acknowledgement we were there. The place was busy, but not frantically so. One bartender was occasionally doing paperwork, the other was stacking glasses...all the while, we sat in front of them, apparently invisible. Finally, after about ten minutes, one came over,... We stopped in one night a few weeks ago, having thought for some time that we wanted to dine there. We'd been by several times on normal restaurant nights only to find it closed. The night we went in there was a band playing and it was very loud. We tried to find a spot as far away as possible!!... More

We planned a long weekend in the Sandpoint area in September, the weather was great. We biked from our hotel to downtown and popped into the winery in the afternoon. The winery has been around for 20 years and have produced award wining wines. The decor is relaxing and a rustic feel. The service was excellent and the wine tasting... More

We were pleasantly surprised at how good all of the wines were. We tasted all varietals and I joked that there wasn't one that I would pour out. A bit pricy at $20-30 a bottle though. Nice, friendly service too.

Great atmosphere and I love how it was decorated. Nice gift shop off to the side. The food was excellent and so was the wine.

Four of us had a very poor meal, second rate beef, tasteless risotto just very disappointing and the wine just so-so; not a nice experience in a pleasant setting

We discovered this restaurant on our trip from Seattle to glacier national park and didn't expect anything fancy. It turned out to be one of the coolest places we went to on our trip! The food was terrific and we also got really good recommendations for wine!

We really enjoyed this winery over a weekend in August. Beautiful red brick setting and unique dishes to share with some great wine. Yummy fresh bruschetta. If you are Canadian, the prices of a good bottle of wine in the restaurant will astonish! Start at $22. There is a beautiful patio in the back and they have wonderful live music... More

I really love these people and their relatively new restaurant behind the front bar and very nice showroom with unusual gifts. They have classed up Sandpoint a bit and are working on offering unique dishes and tastes. I say "working on" because it is still a work in progress on some nights. Be aware they only offer small plates and... More

My wife and I had the fried chicken open face sandwich and the romain with mango salad. Wonderful taste and reasonably priced! Service was prompt, friendly and very helpful in wine selection suggestions. Definitely a must stop at winery when in Sandpoint.
