I would recommend this place to everyone. The food is good and the waitresses are nice. They will do anything to make your visit pleasant. This is a locally owned and operated business. As for those who are mad because this isn't "authentic" Mexican food.... we are in America! If you want authentic, there are roach coaches around.

The food was good and the service is good. But it's definitely Americanized Mexican food so if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this probably isn't the place for you

I have been to Gringos a few times. The servers were great. I really like the chips and salsa. The rest of the food was not so great. It would be nice to have fresher options. Not microwaved tasting options. I ordered the enchiladas with a salad. I did not like the chicken at all. The sweet pork was okay.... More

We ordered the waitresses suggestion, the Con Crema, and shared the large dish. It was plenty. It is a white(ish) sauce with chicken and steak (also a shrimp option) and we enjoyed every bite. Very unique and delicious. It came with very good rice and beans, and tortillas. I would order the same thing if I ever come here again.... More

There are a handful of "somewhat" authentic Mexican restaurants in the area, but this is definitely not one of them. Folks who have lived in the area for some time seem to like it. My guess, they haven't had real Mexican food to compare it to. They can get the simple things like chips, salsa, bean burritos and a couple... More

If you like real, authentic Mexican food, look elsewhere. Many locals love this place, but we have yet to find anything that is really authentic and has much flavor. There are a number of better options in Rexburg for authentic Mexican food.

Chips and salsa are a favorite. Not as good as it used to be :( Entrees were mediocre...rice was not good at all. Was a busy place.

They have some hidden charges for salsa for your free chips but other than that they are pretty honest. I have been hit an miss here with service which brings it down a star. Sometimes you can go in and have a great server and the next a very poor one.

This was not a good day to be at Gringo's. When we first walked in, there was no one at the front counter. We waited for literally 2 or 3 full minutes before I finally wandered to the back to see if someone was coming. Once we were seated, we were informed that there was a water warning (obviously not... I always go to gringos when I want a great enchilada. The chips and salsa are the beat around. Great food.
