We were visiting McCall during the Winter Carnival and stopped in at the Fogglifter Cafe to warm up a bit. We had a mocha, the soup of the day and a toasted asiago bagel. The food was quite good, the mocha was just right. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will go back!

Most important: this place has the best coffee in town as far as I'm concerned. Their food offerings are also excellent and a nice change from the usual breakfast fare.

Immensely enjoyed the East Indian Huevos Raccheros with red lentil dal & pineapple-apple chutney. What a treat to find a creatively different breakfast. Food was nicely seasoned & not overly salted. We just barely beat the morning crowd; delicious coffee served promptly & food not far behind. We'll be back!

We had breakfast which was good but not very big portions. It really is a coffee shop with food but you have to get your own. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it out to you, you do the bussing.

I admit I was already a bit of a fan of the fogg lifter, we went today as a group of friends and we each ordered something different and none of us was disappointed. Good coffee, great prices! Not a greasy spoon! Which is a relief when you're out of town.

We enjoyed breakfast here one morning while in McCall. Seeing the long lines and full tables over a few previous mornings told us it's a popular spot. You order your meal or coffee at the counter, then they'll serve you at your table/seat. The food was tasty though it took awhile to be served. Friendly crowd, dog-friendly (outside, at least),... Great breakfast and fabulous coffee. It was a busy morning, but the help wasn't very friendly. You place your order at the counter and get your utensils at a little station, and they were out of knives, I asked for a knife and the waitress zoomed outside to another station and grabbed some knives, walked right past me and never... Fogglifter Cafe serves the best breakfast in town! And, their coffee is wonderful. We stop for a meal every time we're in McCall, and we make sure we stop for coffee and banana bread if we're just passing through.

This is the place to go if you want an early morning cup of coffee in the city of McCall! They open at 7am, which is early for McCall! LOL!

I stop by this place for lunch and ordered a tuna sandwich and some tomato soup. The service was fast and friendly and I went outside and sat in the cool breeze and watch people go by the main street. The food was delivered promptly and was very delicious as well as healthy as the bread was whole-grain and was... More
