We stopped for lunch Friday on our way to Lava Hot Springs. We tried a plate with ribs, chicken and pulled pork. We got one plate and split the food. It was all amazing. The garlic french bread is worth getting an extra order. We made another stop on our way home Sunday and were not disappointed. The chili beans... More

We were in Pocatello on business heading back to Salt Lake City for our flights. We pulled off I15 to get gas when 1 of our party spotted this place. Barbecue sounded good. It was 1:30 so we missed the lunch crowd but there were still quite a few people ordering. While we had a variety of things (pulled pork/chicken/ribs)... More

Best BBQ served in a great outside atmosphere. Prices are super and everything is grilled to order! Great pit stop for your road trip!

So normally I head to Malad for my occasional losing of the lottery purchase. The quickest spot when headed to Idaho is Malad. But, let me tell you about this fine and fun spot to eat which is worth the drive just for the eats. Whether you went to their old location just down the street to their new one,... More

First off, you should understand there isn't a huge selection of "fast food" in Malad. And only a couple of restaurants. So if you're just passing through and looking for something that is locally owned and good honest food, this is it! Driving by, we couldn't help but smell the the wonderful aroma flowing from the smokers in front of... More

We were on our way to Glacier National Park and stopped in Malad go a quick bite to eat. We saw Spero's and decided to try it. It reminded me of the great little barbecue shacks that you see in the Deep South picnic tables and all. Well the Southern style pulled pork sandwich that I got was great and... More

Simply amazing. Simple service, great prices, and the impeccable food quality. I chose to stay here because I was passing through, but I wanted to try it after reading all the positive reviews. Strongly recommended. Nice and friendly staff.

It is always such a delight to stumble upon a little gem of a place in a small town, and Spero's was one of those little gems. This is a super casual barbecue stand with only outdoor seating. Their seating area is very nicely done, with plenty of shady places to eat, and also some comfy seating in the sun....all... More
