When we arrived, there was an hour plus wait for a table. Hostess suggested eating at the bar so we wouldn't have to wait. Great suggestion. We were the only one's at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. Made great suggestions off...the menu. My wife had the steak tips and I had the locally caught trout. The food was exceptional! Highly recommended.More

I had a burger - not something I usually do but a Whiskey Sour burger intrigued me and I am glad it did.. My husband had the liver and onions with masked potatoes and fried okra (only so so,not crisp) and then my coleslaw. They...nicely subed by fries for coleslaw but the burger was so big, it was all I could accomplish. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of tables and servers. Desk hostess came by to ask if all was ok. Now we were not there at lunch time =- we were there 2:30ish on a Sat and there still was a good crowd of people. Upstairs as we left, we noticed some kind of party which may be the one the desk host told the hostess all set for the reception, just waiting on the people. They were on the ball as we figured the part would start at 4 and this was just after 3:30. Lots of parking and for a change, lots of handicapped parking both for the upper level and lower.More

This is my first and last trip to the Brothers in Young Harris, GA. The hostess was great, the server Pam was marvelous, but the manager and my order was the crappiest ever. I ordered the Hawaiian Grilled Chicken sandwich. When it came it was...sour smelling and just was a turn off. Before I sent it back to the kitchen I cut the chicken about halfway through so I could tell if it was a fresh sandwich. When the server brought it back, Here is your new sandwich. I was with a friend and she had a fine meal. I looked at the sandwich, noticed they had flipped over the same chicken, added yet another piece of sour frozen hot house tomato, placed the same pineapple, bacon on the same bun.....the manager dressed in Carthart pants, plaid shirt, a vest and tennis shoes stated that they had to leave the food in the cooler for the closing over Christmas.....so does that mean they keep their food too long or was this just my bad luck on my first visit. He said he would do some investigation....he never came back and offered an apology, comp of both the meals...and was rather distant and noncompassionately rude. The manager did not introduce himself, did not give his name and did not offer to take my meal off the check - the server did! The server also said he was the owner. He did ask if I wanted anything else but I said no meal but I would like some more fried okra...... On the way out I was mad, disappointed and just wanted to leave. The manager was behind the front counter and barely said anything to us until we were halfway out the door, my friend answered his question "Was your meal okay?" She responded that the server took care of us and we left. Still, the manager did not offer any recognized concern over the bad food or offered any compensation. I usually do not write reviews on places I go because the management or the staff bend over backwards to accommodate and make you feel like they care, they want you to come back or they are embarrassed for the actions shown. This did not occur and I am saying go if you like you may have a better meal, but be wary of the tactics establishments are doing to save money, serve used food and not keep what they have fresh. I have worked in food service and I have witnessed what cooks servers and managers do to not lose money on food, service and etc....it is appalling that this happens and people are unaware. The Health department I m sure is not making as many house calls as needed nor inspections due to the virus, but people need to be aware and speak up so changes are made. This situation could have been handled very differently and the outcome feeling of this patron who enjoys dining places near home, if the manager would have been more attentive, professional and made an effort to remedy the sour taste in this patron's mouth better.More

We visited on the last night of our trip. If we would have known how amazing it was, we would have visited many times. There is a wide selection, and all the food was delicious! I could not stop eating the bread! The service is...fast, and although very popular, it was not too loud. Definitely would recommend it!More

I liked this place a lot. I had the loaded chop steak (special) and wife had spinach-feta chicken. Good taste, and we couldn’t eat it all (rare for me). Service was attentive without being invasive—kudos to Madison!

We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a good steak. Brothers did not disappoint. The rib eyes were delish, large baked potatoes, and perfect steamed broccoli. Since it was our anniversary they treated use to a free delicious bread pudding topped with the best ice...creme. The restaurant was good with COVID 19 precautions too. This was our 3rd visit and we will go again.More

Having been treated poorly at a competing steak house with long horned cattle in their logo, came to Brothers. Great choice. Warm welvome. Extensive menu. Cheerful wait staff. Fast delivery of food. Wonderful beef and salmon. Lower prices than at the national chsin. A great...experience. Visit them, support your local restaurant, and be well fed with a smile.More
