On our way from Blairsville, to Young Harris, we stopped at Gibson's for lunch. Our selections were: foot long hot dog, chili dog, curly fries, steak fries and a patty melt. I've patty melts at various eateries, but never had one with two hamburger patties....I must say, it was one, if not, the best I've ever had. Curly fries and steak fries were fried to perfection, quite brown, but not burnt. Love this quaint, off the beaten path place. Gibson’s is well known in area, been there a long time. They have very good, juicy, hand pattied burgers, as well as other sandwiches. They always have a daily special and they cook as you order. We always eat at Gibson’s when we are in...the area.More

I go there often for lunch. My daughter was visiting from Atlanta and for her hamburgers represent 2 of the 4 food groups. She said it was the best burger she'd ever eaten.

Although we've lived in the area for several years, we'd never stopped here until today. What a GOOD lunch of hamburgers and fries. Burgers are a bit pricey, but really good; one order of fries is enough to share. The reviewer who said this place...was grungy must've been somewhere else. This interior here was simple, but extremely clean and bright...the kitchen was spotless!. Needless to say, we will go back!More

My husband swears this is the best hamburger place in the tri county area. This is his go to place with the boys. Laid back atmosphere and really friendly.
