I call it that as a term of endearment not disgust. The staff treats you like family and you know the food; scattered, covered, and chunked; hashbrowns. Before you leave try a pecan waffle, slathered with butter and syrup. only way to eat it.

other than it being too loud at times (which really irritates us)..we love Waffle House for breakfast any time of the day. They could do better with keeping noise to an inside voice/jute box at reasonable level, etc...we're always pleased with WH.
