We are a family with young children who visited for an early evening dinner following reading the positive reviews. We were not disappointed - the food was excellent. Generous portions and well-executed with an above average attention to detail for pub food. The children's menu was good value.

We ate here as a family of four with our dog. It's a traditional pub which had a super warm log burner (it was February!). We chose here based on the reviews here on TA and the fact that we could bring our dog into the bar area. The pub was busy especially for a Wednesday lunchtime in February. The... More

Excellent service, lovely pub grub. One of the best moules & frites I've had out ever and the rest of our meal was equally as delicious. Super cosy inside by the fire and a lovely view across the marshes. Will definitely be making a return visit in the future!

We had met up with some friends for a walk round Sheringham Park and wanted to round off the day with a good old Sunday Lunch. Thankfully we booked, as this place is REALLY popular and based on the food and service, I can see why. They have a great selection of local ales and a variety of wines to... More

We visited this pub on a really cold evening! A glowing log burner and a cheery welcome from staff made us feel instantly relaxed and at home . A few tables were available so we chose one nearest to the fire. A glass of very nice Rioja and a glass of nicely chilled beer was brought to our table and... More

We have visited the Dun Cow on a number of occasions and always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and their system of matching people to tables in busy periods works well. Good ale, good food, good service, what more could you ask for!!!

Always fantastic food at this place. Gets busy at weekends/holidays. In summer there's plenty of outdoor seating and you can look out across the salt marsh. In winter it's always warm and welcoming. Enjoy top class grub, good selection of wines and beers then take an evening stroll on salthouse beach..if you're lucky you might even spot a seal or... More

After visiting the Dun Cow twice in recent months, and giving good reviews, unfortunately am unable to do so this time. Two of our party of four decided to have Rump Steak. I'm afraid both pieces were very tough, and hard to eat.Fair play to the staff they offered us a complementary dessert ,which we kindly accepted.

We called in here on Saturday to a very lively atmosphere and a lot of very friendly people and very welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and the food/beer was first class. Had a shock with the final Bill though as it was about fifty percent less than we expected . We had a...
