Loved the food. We came for lunch,and we were pleasantly surprised. Not too shabby for a hole in the wall restaurant. This is New Orleans' authentic cuisine!
On the Bayou is as close to NOLA as "down home" food gets. Even better now that Hector is back! He knows how to satisfy NOLA appetites. Not fancy, but really good food. Reminiscent of the neighborhood foodies place to get a great meal.
