We read about this place beeing very crowded at times so we decided to order a take away pizza beforehand and asked to pick it up an hour and a half later. Worked real fine and the pizza was delicious <3

Service was friendly but pizza was terrible. No taste and wet. We waited for our pizza for 45 minutes and many customers that came after us got their foods before us.
This restaurant used to be known for it's pizzas but it has changed hands almost on a yearly basis over the years. Nowadays the place is well worth a visit. It serves sturdy no fuss dishes and of course pizzas 🙂
Excellent Baltic Herring (silakka) with mushed potatoes. Atmosphere was great too. Others said that burger and pizza were great too.
Have eaten dinner at this place for 2 days. First catch of the day. Than burger. Both excellent! Well fried fish with crouchy veggies. Good burger with a perfect Finnish lager. May be not the cheapest place ever but is definitely worth it!
Ate here while visiting Dalsbruk. Restaurant is located by the sea. Service at restaurant was good at the till and when the food was brought to us the waiter was smiling and friendly. Place was clean and quite a lot of people. Unfortunately the quality...of food is terrible :-( The pizza tasted awful with cheap cheese and lots of garlic. Pizza dough was a the worst I have eaten. The fish and chips my partner had was a little bit better but also pretty bad. The fish was obviously prepared from frozen fish and tasted absolutely not fresh. We were expecting something better from this place which was actually recommended to us. Unfortunately not a good place for food. Maybe for drinks.More
Simple menu, fast service, comfy family restaurant. Good beer selection. A little too close to the road. The burger was very acceptable
Visited this place on a weekend, small trip but vacation vibe Friendly service and perfect gluten free pizza. Ready to come back here again.
Visiting Portside first time. Lot of customers because of Finland holiday season. Good and frendly service. The quality of food was poor. In this place you should order pizza or hamburger.
I had a delicious "pub-style" pizza. Thin and crispy, not overflooded with cheese 'n' grease. The other mains were not bad but didn't stand out either. Pizza is definitely the best value for money here and the big portions won't leave you hungry. The service...was really nice and quite fast too, even with a packed terrace. Except for pizzas, it's a bit overpriced "tourist trap" but in this category, a solid 4/5.More
1 out of 5 dishes edible. Pizza awful with loads of cheese and aioli. Pasta OK and fresh. Mashed potatoes warmed up, meatballs and sauce not to children’s taste. Basic stuff like french fries undercooked. Way overpriced.
We have visited this place lots of times in the past. Always good food from fantastic Schnitzels to liver and local lamb. Not the case anymore with the new owner were sad to say. The food was very average and the service unprofessional. We were...served by three different people which didn´t help in th communication. The portions were extremely fatty (especially the pasta) which left one of our guests with severe stomache aches. The pork ribs were tender but served with a thick barbeque topping, french fries and one salad leave with a tablespoon of coleslaw on top and a cup of unnecessary cold bbq sauce of the same type as the one already covering the ribs... The pizzas were ok but terribly overpriced. My wife ordered a pizza with 6 different toppings including extra garlic (there was no garlic whatsover to be noticed in the pizza) the price 22 euros and no refund or the missing garlic! Sad to see the demise of this once fine restaurant which actually should have changed it´s name with the new owner.More
Nice place in the harbor of a small village. Pizza was quite good, house wine also. We came in a boat and the guest harbor was also nice.
We dined in an empty restaurant due to a storm that had raged earlier that day. The empty joint was no indication of the quality of food we would soon enjoy. Fresh salads, big and tasty portions and more importantly, a friendly, welcoming staff.
I and my wife were passing by and we decided to drop in for lunch. The seafaring themed place is cozy and the atmosphere with very friendly staff is relaxed. We both had fried liver as they had it on their menu. Now, I must...say that we've had excellent fried liver at another restaurant before but these Portside's portions totally blew those away. A truly remarkable achievement. The liver was well-done to the perfection, not the slightest over, with nice and crispy bacon and a wonderful mushroom sauce (we were not sure but we thought it was made from horn-of-plenty). The potato-mash with chopped red onions and crushed lingonberries just topped up the feast. We will definitely visit again when we happen to be around the next time.More
