I lived not too far from Greenwoods for many years and enjoyed eating there regularly. I moved far away about a year and a half ago and now every time I visit the Atlanta area, I plan for a meal at Greenwoods. There are many wonderful choices but my favorite is the Salmon. I always order it with the butter... More

This place did not disappoint. I had the meatloaf which was 2 huge slabs. My husband had the fried chicken which was drenched in honey delicious. For dessert we tried the chocolate and coconut cream pie... they are huge! If you want good southern food this place is a good pick!

We had heard people rave about this restaurant and decided to try it out. They serve you a half a chicken with honey dribbled on it but didn't really taste like Southern fried chicken. Cornbread was bland. Creamed corn was Good. Blackeyed peas were crunchy. Grits were the consistency of paste but did have a good flavor. Overall not a... More

Upon entering the quaint farmhouse, a little girl was walking out saying "no more food- I never want to see food again!". Let's start with the corn muffins- yumminess. Stop at half if one, I'm warning you and warned the guys, but they didn't listen. Someone at your table must get the fried chicken- 30 minutes goes by super fast... More

I came back for their Plum chicken which is roasted and very juicy with broccoli caserol and mashed potatoes. Good selection of veggies and the best homemade fruit pies in town. I have been coming here twenty years and it is always fresh and good. There honey and pepper fried chicken is my other favorite. The size of the fish... More

When I saw the peace sign outside I knew I would have to try this place. When you walk into this restored early 20th century home you immediately feel at home because of the charm and warmth. The service there was excellent. I would call their menu southern comfort food. They start by bringing you cornbread and butter and it... More

Went for lunch one Sunday. Most of us ordered the shrimp and grits. They were very creamy and shrimp were plenty and tasted very good. I got the collard greens as a side, and they tasted very good, a little sweet for my taste, but they made sure there were no stems in them, only the leave part ,and for... More

Portions are HUGE. Make sure to split an entree. We always get one order of fried chicken to go, and split it between two people (and still have left overs). The batter in the fried chicken is made with honey, and it really something special. Make sure to order some of their homemade pies. The apple and the chocolate are... More

Best fried chicken I've ever had! Really good service, very large portions. Quality Southern comfort food. You'll be taking a to-go box home. Don't miss out on the home made pies
