I had no idea this restaurant would be so close to our hotel. My daughter and I walked down to it in the morning. We already loved the food served but wanted to visit a little piece of history.

Food excellent. Picked same time as a bus load of students. Very slow due to high volume. Food quality good as to be expected at the ORIGONAL site.

LIke the title says, it's a chick-fil-a but diner style. The menu has all the regular stuff, but also includes many other things (e.g., Chicken & waffles). Prices are higher ($8.99) than the regular stores, but you get some extra sides. You also have someone wait on you. Portions were so large we took the extra and made it the... More

We had to spend the night in Atlanta...unplanned...and while searching for something to eat, we came across this Chick-fil-a. To our surprise, it was the FIRST Chick-fil-a established. It was "homey" and very pleasant. The food was very good.

I'm loving the chicken nuggets and ranch! This is the coolest Chick-fil-A ever! Go there! The line is always long but it's totally worth your time!

We are new converts to the Chick-Fil-A phenomenon in Washington state, so I was curious to visit the original location, the Dwarf House. Driving up to the restaurant, we were caught behind a great line of cars waiting to go through the drive-thru. So far, this was just like the Chick-Fil-A at home! One difference, tho, was the ample parking... More

It was fun to see where it all started for Truett Cathy and his family at the Dwarf House. Go through the dwarf door in front of the restaurant and check out the statue of Truett Cathy on the street side facing the tracks. We really enjoyed the handmade omelets and actually visited twice during our stay. As always, though,... More

The restaurant was very clean and extremely busy. The first day we went we had absolutely no wait and got a booth right away. The second day we came at lunch hour rush but we were able to be seated at the bar immediately. The chicken is ridiculously good but our favorites were the sweet potato soufflé as well as... More

I had a chicken burrito, and was very happy with it. It made for a very nice breakfast when I was in a hurry. Will definitely stop again.

So pleased w the hospitality of the greeters, clerks and crew at 11 p.m. This is a 24-hour facility and one that is divided into two sections: One for counter service and the other for table service (where a server comes to the table to take your order). We opted for the counter service. The milk shakes we ordered we... More

Description
Welcome to the Hapeville Dwarf House, home of Chick-fil-A! On May 26, 1946, Truett Cathy and his brother Ben Cathy opened up a small restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia called the Dwarf Grill. What started out as a small dream turned into over 2,000 restaurants nationwide. 70 years and one name change later, the Hapeville Dwarf House is thriving today. Unlike your typical Chick-fil-A, the Hapeville Dwarf House has a full-service side and is open 24 hours, 6 days a week. But, don't worry, you can find everything you love on Chick-fil-A's menu here, plus some. Come on in for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or even a Midnight snack. We'll be open (except on Sunday's)! NEW! We Cater! Whether it's a business meeting, event, or family reunion, you name it, we can cater it! Check out our website for our catering menu.
