Service is always a plus here...managers and wait staff. Love to stop in here for lunch. My husband had the Crovina fish..sister fish to Sea Bass. It was delicious. Fried green tomatoes are a must here. Keep room for their famous Buttermilk pie.

This was my first visit to Greensboro. We were passing through and looked for a place to have lunch. After driving a few blocks around this historic town we spotted the Yesterday Cafe, which had about three tables with chairs on the sidewalk. Parking was available on the street a short distance from the entrance. The weather was not suitable... More

My husband and I went to lunch here. I rarely eat fried foods (amongst other things)so eating at a southern resturant is sometimes challenging but this isnt our first visit. The service is always attentive and their always very sweet. We both ordered burgers and they were cooked to order... med rare. I also asked if they can make mine... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. I would have given it a 5 star rating except my grilled chicken breast was the smallest one I've ever seen and my husband's gravy was too salty. The veggies are fresh and yummy as well... More

The Yesterday Café is a great place to eat with a down-home atmosphere. Everything on the menu is outstanding. Service and the attention received is top notch. At dessert time, allow the server to tell you about the famed "buttermilk pie."

The food is always good. They tend to get very busy during the lunch hour so it's best to make a reservation if possible. We usually call our order in ahead of time so that it will be ready when we get there since we only have 1 hour for lunch.

Ate hear after visiting a little art boutique across the street. The prices do seem a little high for a small town, but the food was good and I had no problem with the service. The restaurant was clean. The men's room doesn't lock and isn't the best layout for one that doesn't. Good place for a a good meal... More

Pretty expensive for what you get. Not a good value. Limited menu. The only thing worth the trip for me, the fried pickles ! Best I've had.

Driving through Greensboro and we decided to stop for lunch. The Yesterday Cafe is a must stop place to eat. We had the grilled blacken Basa, Grilled Blackened Pork Chops, Fried green tomatoes, black eyes, fried okra and corn bread. All were excellent. Our Lainey was our server and she was excellent as well. A very friendly and homey atmosphere.

I visit my hometown once a year to see family and relax. I make a point to stop into the cafe and at a minimum have some Buttermilk Pie. The food is good and the atmosphere has that southern feeling. It's always good to come home.
