People here love this restaurant. I've been 5 times and nothing is special. Service can be great and just okay. The place is always noisy almost to the point where you can't hear your own conversation.

We stopped in for lunch and fell in love. The atmosphere is friendly and fun with eclectic decor. Wine corks wrap the central wall. We all had the black & bleu panini and loved it so much we went back for dinner. The Gouda fritters are as amazing as the rumors. My pork cutlets were amazing in their cumin &... More

Don't be turned away by the name.My favorite Sunday Brunch is the Stuffed Frittada with 3 fillings and 2 sides. You should come away very happy. Your coffee cup is never empty.

I enjoyed the unusual and lighthearted atmosphere. Menu was good, but limited. Service was exceptional.

This place is great! I had the Eggs Florentine. Delicious! Eggs perfect! If you are in Gainesville, make a point of trying 2 Dogs. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The wine cork walls are a must see.The original works of art are something to see as well. Going back to Gainesville this weekend and may have to stop in for... More

First trip to Gainsville and looking forward to coming back here. We wanted a special dinner and could not have been more pleased. The service was fast and friendly. Beers were interesting and plenty to choose from. My husband had the fried pork chop with jalapeno chutney served with roasted red potatoes and sauteed kale, so large a portion of... More

They have an artist inspired ambience and do really good, italian/european style kitchen. Totally worth the slightly higher price level (this is not a pricy place, you just pay a couple more bucks for way better food!) Next to yellowfin (which is more seafood-oriented) I would rate this as one of the two best restaurants in the Gainesville town center.

Stopped through Gainesville on the way to the mountains, and forgot that our regular place (Longstreets) was closed on Sunday. We were looking forward to some good 'ol Southern cooking. Trip Advisor to the rescue. We were re-routed to 2 Dog within minutes, based on reviews, and luckily just minutes away. How I love Sunday brunch (or maybe it's just... More

2 Dog uses local dairy, honey, fresh seasonal produce, fresh baked bread, desserts made in-house. We were looking for a local restaurant & chose 2 Dog because of their website - "we offer fresh fish, poultry and beef. Most steaks are butchered in house, sausage is made in-house and all smoked meats are smoked here on the premises." Sides change... More

Came for a lunch with our group from work and loved everything! The food was great, had the Greek salad wrap and peanut butter pie. The sweet tee was amazing, perfectly sweetened with small crunchy pellet ice. The place is very eclectic with fun and funky decor. Great location near the square, service was excellent, everyone very friendly. Would definitely... More
