Nice skilled cook and good food. Yum yum sauce is the best. Price is acceptable and service is good. Recommended.

For 15+ years we have come to Shogun. After being out of the country for several years, we returned to Duluth. We recently revisited our old favorite. We were disappointed in our half-hatred chef. Heck, I crack eggs more theatrically at home! They fried rice was flavorless. It's still an expensive dinner out, but no longer leaving me feeling like... More

My family and I made reservations for a large party to celebrate my little cousin's high school graduation at this horrible establishment. For starters, we only received half of the space we'd reserved. It took nearly an hour for our entire party to be seated. While we were seated by 7:45 p.m., our orders were not taken until after 8:30... More

My family and I used to come here a good bit. It's decently priced and the hibachi is your average hibatchi. The sushi is nothing to write home about. It's okay but not great. The last time we went was a date night for my husband & me. The hibachi chef TOTALLY ignored us except to ask how we wanted... More

I went back again after not going there for a while, and now I remember why I didn't go back after my other visit. It's just such an average place. Very average food, below average shimp (tiny!). Still hard to find - poor signage and the gps doesn't get you to the right place. Waitress polite and helpful.

Dinner at ShoGun was sub-par for the typically Hibachi experience. Food itself had too much garlic butter in the preparation and soaked the rice but that could vary between chefs. My main complaint was the $1.95 up charge if you wanted fried rice instead of steamed rice. All the food is cooked on the cooktop already and the owners charge... More

I was invited for a Team Lunch and we dined here. I had Shogun Special (shrimp, chicken, steak and veggies). It was good! I am not fond of steaks but its my first time to enjoy it a lot. The service is good as well and price is okay. It was worth it. Will come back whenever possible :)

I eaten at a lot of Japanees Steak houses, and had both sushi and hibachi at them all. ShoGun was nothing to write home about. It's good, but not "OMG Good". If I was invited to go with the team again, I would go, but it's not a place I would choose to go to.

I had a business dinner at ShoGun. Once seated, we were asked to move to another table so they could clean. Fortunately we didn't have any others join us around the grill so we were able to talk business. As such, we didn't pay much attention to the chef's show. Food quality was high, tastey and portions were large (maybe... More
