This is one of my favorite spots in Decatur. The food is excellent, service is attentive but not hovering, and the setting is like being in a french kitchen. The desserts are great.
Intimate, cozy, warm environment! I've been for lunch and dinner and both dining experiences were wonderful! This is definitely a well established place in downtown Decatur where locals flock to! The owner is quite lovely and is happy to help you! Such a charming french...More

Café Alsace is Northern French and Alsace France is on the German Border which is very apparent in the different style of food at this restaurant. I generally do not like French food because of the heavy sauces but that is not the case in...More
I surprised my husband the night before our trip to France (he knew we were going somewhere - but didn't know where) in this wonderful spot in downtown Decatur - and again enjoyed last night in toasting the restaurant on their 20th anniversary in Decatur....More
